someone just pointed out the 2400 join condition on your Aussie Adventure contest..WTF is that all about?

Lets do some numbers:
to win your contest you need 2400 joins:
2400 joins @ 34.95 per initial is $83,880
given your sliding % scale resets every month, this means your profits after affiliate costs are between $35,000 - 38,000. THIS IS NOT INCLUDING REBILLS!!!!!

And you call this a contest??? Mate, come on, get real. This is nothing more than a money making scheme.

Hey affiliates, want a contest? hows this sound: you send 2400 joins to hunkmoney sites between now and 31July2006 and I will write you a cheque for $12000. I reserve the right to cancel, modify or extend this contest as I see fit. But if you are serious about it so am I.

That cant be right, it works out to around 100 joins a week.

There are very few affiliates that can send that much on a consistent basis, we have 1 affiliate on Condom Cash who sends between 40-45 a month on a regular basis but she works really hard for those sales.

If you look at the official terms on their site, 2400 is the official number:
"That's only 13 joins per day or 100 joins per week for that period"

Plus you might just notice this as well:
" 6. 30% of the required joins to qualify must be sent BEFORE 31 April 2006 (720 joins)."

to me, a contest would be "send 1 join in a week and you are entered to win in our drawing" or something. sending 100 joins per week - well, most big programs raise your payment $5 per join for every sale if you send over 50 a week but that's not a contest - it's an incentive.

Personally, I like the prizes. I won an iPod last month, and I LOVE it! If people started giving away awesome things like that, I'd be in heaven. I love hot new gadgets. If I got the cash, I would tend to spend it on bills. So having the chance to win prizes and stuff that I would feel guilty spending cash on is great for me.
