What you want to know is how to create a multi-site user pass, that's something you'll need to work out with your billing processor.

There has to be some script that does it. It would check a referring URL and then if it was acceptable, would bypass the username/password requirement and allow access.

Some feed (plugin) links go through a cgi script, so maybe it checks the referring URL, and then allows access through a user/pass set up for that referring URL.

The other option, like Bec suggests would be to have your billing company set up something that writes the username/password to two separate password files, one for your site and one for your hubby's site.

Yes you can do it by checking the referring url or check with your billing provider if they can set it up so that your users get access to all ... but it seems like you want to link into somebody else's site ....

get strongbox, they have a "handoff" feature that allows you to do this securely plus you will get all the other benefits of their security (anti-password trading / anti-hacking) and it only costs $100 per site.

    cheers,
    Luke
