Damn Storms

So since 10pm last night we seem to have had a storm in the area and it sounds like it is getting worse as time goes by

Thats the one bad thing about living less than 1/2 a block away from the ocean, we get these things a lot quicker than anyone else

So, on the off-chance power goes out and im not around for the 125000th post winner, ill be sure to announce who wins the main prize list as well as the 3 runner up prizes as soon as i can get back online.

That's the one thing I miss about the east coast, the storms. LA goes from pissing rain to monsoon, but never a good old fashioned thunderstorm.

Why do people live right beside the ocean?

I'd like to live by the ocean. Imagine waking up every morning looking at the sunrise over the beach. I would risk it.

There was a report recently about the best place to live if you like the tropical and at least risk for storm damage: Hawaii.
