I am a freak, I would open the largest best gay adult site in the world, even if I lost money in the process. I think that gay sites do offer allot to the youth community and has saved some peoples lives.

I would invest probally 60% in real estate, condos and houses in miami and california.

20% in high risk . high return investments,

10% in low risk bonds / sucurities

10% would just be "fun money" sitting in my bank account for me to "play with"

Anything you want! I don't think at that level there is not much you can't do.... but whatever you do, you could sure have a lot of fun at it for that much cash.

I think i saw an affiliate program somewhere that was offering this kind of payout somewhere in another post, if you sent them 10,000,000,000 joins in the next 90 days or something like that... maybe we can try that and we can all find out what it is like to have 50,000,000 to spend!

since i'm in the u.s., the first thing i would probably do is pay around half in taxes.

i'd buy a couple places just before foreclosure which costs more than once they're at auction but without the competition. set up a home gym, pay off my mom's mortgage, put a million somewhere we can get at easily and invest the rest.

5,000,000 would go to my ma & pa.
5,000,000 would go to friends & family.

I'd keep the rest - people I know (with the exception of select few) would never see me again. I'd have a small shack at the base of various mountains and I'd spend the rest of my life scrambling, hiking, climbing and skiing (with and without a kite). In addition, I'd surround myself with many quadpeds of the canine variety.

Yep - I'd pay off some debts, relocate and get a new house and car, setup my mom to be comfortable, help a few friends and then just live off the interest.

Might even find time to learn more about investments, stocks, etc. And Patti's property accumulation would also be a consideration. No idea if I'd stay with porn or not, although it would open the door to actually develop some ideas I've had.

I can't even fathom that much money. Yeah, I'd have to hire someone to look out for it, do my investing for me and all that, so I can just enjoy myself. I'd pay off all my debts and get a small house and just go shopping like mad. Than I'd take a bunch of friends on a cruise, maybe travel. I dunno.

Wow. $50 million.

OK, the very first thing I would do, after paying off all my debt (roughly $23,000) would be to pay off the mortgage on my parents' house so they didn't have to worry about that anymore. Then I'd give them each a million and tell them to do something they've always wanted to do. My parents would be my very first concern.

THEN...

I'd move out of my crappy apartment in Hollywood and buy a nice house somewhere in the city. I'd also rent an apartment in New York City and pay the rent ahead for at least two or three years. (My ultimate goal is be an entertainment journalist who travels back and forth between NYC and L.A. to cover both theater and movies.)

I'd buy a new but modest car, something like a Jeep Liberty. I don't care about flashy cars. Never have, never will.

I'd then invest a good bit of the money, and put a good bit of it away into savings and CDs and stuff like that.

I'd adopt a kid. I've always wanted to do this. And put some money aside for their college fund.

And I'd fund my education in film school and make a modestly budgeted indie film to get my career started. And I'd write/direct a porn film.

I'd donate at least $1 million to various charities. AIDS, cancer, Make a Wish, etc.

I'd travel to Europe again.

I think I could do most of that with $50 million.

Take about 1 million and give it to family so they can pay off mortgages etc and take a long vacation, then put the other $49m into a well balanced investment portfolio including some real estate, bonds, dividend stocks and that's pretty much it. At just 5% interest, it would be making $2,450,000 per year, and at that much money you can afford to have the best managers look after your wealth so you should make even more. Like 10%+ over the long term. 10% is 4.9M a year, imagine getting about $100,000 a week just off of interest cause you didn't blow the whole wad to start with.
