    Spain 'to approve gay marriages'

    Spanish Prime Minister-elect Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero says he is in favour of allowing same-sex marriages.

    His government will draft a law to put gay unions and marriage on an equal footing, he told Spain's Telecinco television channel on Thursday.

    I can't believe that all these other coutries see that it's ok to marry the same sex and we, the country that is suposed to be so open and loud about everything still thinks gays should hide in the closet.

    You know what the crazy thing about this...

    Even if Spain does put a law on the books allowing same sex couples to marry...

    The EU Council can just as easily make a EU wide law saying that they are in fact, illegal :eek:

    Personally, given the past history of some of the laws these crazies at the EU have passed i wouldnt be at all surprised if they did omething like that i mean... who in their right mind checks to make sure the minimum length of a banana has to be around 5 inches before it gets sold..LEGALLY :eek:

    How well do I know about crazy laws. One of my largest clients is in EU. When I ship him the movies they order each day I have to make less then perfect invoices for customs. It seems that it is perfectly legal for them to sell adult movies, and buy them, but it's not legal for them to bring them in the country. There's not law about having to review them or anything before imported either.

    Also, in the town I live in, it is illegal for a person who is posing as the other sex to wear the underwear. They can wear the bra, hose, heels, wig, make up, ect. Just not the panties.
