money orders and porn sites

just wondering if that would be legal to do. i know sending porn tapes to certain places is a no no but what about accepting memberships with money orders?

with a statement of being over 18 and such?

I make them sign a disclaimer form and send it in with cash, check or money order, including date of birth.

I do the same thing.

I have them sign a disclaimer and I ask for proof of age (copy of their id just in case). I have them send a money order or other certified funds, and that's only because I got hit with some bad checks two years ago.

Agreed with the comments so far and, to the best of my knowlede, there is no law saying that you cant use the mail system to pay for porn memberships although, to be on the safe side you should check with a lawyer in your local state or country of residence.

And that's why I ask for proof of age it was the first thing our lawyer had to say.

When I worked at Pornication we accepted mail in payments. If it was a personal check, they had to wait for it to clear before we created their account. Cashier's checks/money orders we put through right away. We had a contract online for the customer to print and sign and send in with a copy of signed photo-id.

However, in the entire time I worked there, very few people utilized this option. It's probably different for membership site payments though, we were putting money into accounts for live shows...where the money goes a lot faster. If it was something that only had to be done once a month, or once every 3 months...it would probably be much more viable. Do you guys get a lot of people taking advantage of mail-in payment options?

With DILF we get about two or three requests a month. But maybe one will really send it in.

When I had the sites seperate from Stud Money, I would get about the same amount of requests but usually had all would send it in.

I dunno what's different, perhaps the job market...

one more question

when the money order is sent to a company how is it cashed? i mean, when the MO is sent to me I'll show my ID but if it's a company how would they know I actually represent that company?

That depends on how your account and company is setup and your banks procedures.

But to know that you represent that company... unless you're on the bank's paper work for that account, they won't know.

The way our corporation and accounts are setup, we would have to deposit the MO into the account and write a check/withdrawal chit in that amount to get the money out. That's a bank rule based on the type of accounts we opened.

Some banks will cash the money order if the company account is a DBA account. These typical work like personal accounts, but again depends on the bank and the type of accounts they have.

Best bet is to go to the bank and ask. I work with three different banks and some of there rules differ slighty.

Well think of it this way... they have your name and you have their's plus ID? You're both nekkid LOL

And I hate driving on So Florida too. Anytime we go, I get a knot in my stomach. I like to say 'it's like driving in New Jersey but with palm trees'. Not a good thing.
