Google AdWords Approvals
I made a minor change to one of my adword ads late Tuesday and the ad still hasn't been approved. I've never seen it take so long. In the past it was up and running within hours.
Anyone else experiencing delays with AdWord approvals lately?

I've never had any problems with changing existing ads before. They are almost instant. New ads are a totally different story. In fact, sometimes I'll take an old ad I'm not using anymore and completely change it including the site I'm advertising and it usually takes very little time for approval.

Meant to be Obscene, not Heard.
I wondered what the slowness was about a few days ago... thought maybe I used a sensitive word or something.
Anyway, yeah when I started a new ad a few days ago they were slow on the uptick.

i've had several take a week after a very minor change. usually the problem wasn't the actual change, though. i had one ad that had said "vids" for a year and when i made a change, an editor determined that vids was unacceptable on google.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?
Im not really bothered about the time it takes for approvals more the reasons for ad declines LOL
Like anyone searching for 'gay men fucking' is going to be looking for a non-porn site LOL

I use adwords for mainstream but not for porn.
Google has no problem using adwords to sell a porn site?
are there any rules about linking directly to porn sites, or about the site having consoles?
any rules with using adwords in general for porn?

no consoles allowed, no "objectionable" words or phrases so that a handjob site is hand sex and a jerkoff site is "guys pleasuring themselves" or some such. also you can't link to a site called jackoffguys.com because the domain contains an objectionable phrase.
they sometimes make you write "affiliate" on the ad if you're an affiliate. sometimes they don't.
they have required me to have the price within 3 clicks of the entrance page and lots of other things - and a lot of the things change from editor to editor.
