You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?
How Deep Do You Go?
No i dont mean like that LOL
When building actual sites on your domains, how deep do make the sub directories for each site?
Do you stick to one level below the domain root like domain.com/subdir/ or, do you go multiple levels deep?
I was wondering, if you have used both methods, have you noticed whether a specific type of structure has helped you more with traffic than the other?
My gut tells me, a site setup like this..
http://www.domain.com/keyword/keyword/
Would be more likely to get better listings in the SE's than a standard..
http://www.domain.com/keyword/
Version would however, at the same time, that could have a potential to become confusing after a while so, in addition to how far you go with your sub-directories, do you try to stick to a certain amount of sites on each domain or do you just pack as many as you can on the domain?

I keep it to domain/keyword/ as not only is the other aspect more confusing, but could lead to a spam penalty as well. unless you really really good at it..

Interesting so, in theory, if i setup a structure like this..
domain.com/teen/
domain.com/lesbian/
domain.com/gay/
It would work better than like this?
domain.com/teen/amateur-teen/
domain.com/lesbian/lesbian-sex/
domain.com/gay/naked-men/
Im primarily concerned about making sure all niche and sub niches that i promote stay in some kind of order on our server than SEO however, it struck me that SEO should also be considered.
I just figure i should be able to get a lot more sites built under more than 2 level deep than if i had to keep them all on the single level.

Yes, because then you multiply the keywords with your page names being keyword sensitive.. so like this:
my domain / teen / boy-sex.html would give you a shot at..
teen
teen boy
teen boy sex
Also if you use anchor text, it helps as well. but you need to determine the sub folder name carefully, so it'll match up with actual search phrases..
teen male sex for example versus boy sex male

it might help a bit but nothing significant really, at least not with the google

I've always been told that you should keep things as close to your root as possible. The theory is that the closer to the root the more important it is. Also, many spiders don't crawl below a couple of levels, some will only go one level in.
