I Wonder? Looking for a blog writer

Hi, I don't speak a good english so I'm looking for someone who can write daily original and exclusive blog posts in english.

Do you know anyone who can do that?
What's your experience about that? How much usually do you spend in writers?

I have read that writers tend to get something like $20-$50 per post and some places offer them % of sales generated from advertising on the category, or post page. Something like this

20-50$ every post??? I found a full time 8hour/day writer just for 850$/month. A blog post is not a tale, is just 2-3 paragraphs every day...

Yes, that's sure, but what's the time a writer need to do a 2-3 paragraphs post? 15 minutes? Have I to pay a writer from 80 to 200$ every hour?

Most will tell you that a successful blog is doing 3-5 posts on average per day ... with good conversation and personality type postings, not just "hey he's hot, check out his cock" ... a few pics and a go buy a membership link. Finding stuff to blog about takes research, and a good sense of what their readers want to know about. It also means going down a list of sponsor sites, finding out what's new in them, and coming up with the images and a creative way to present the model, film, whatever to their audience.

In other words, it isn't 15 minutes at the keyboard and hit publish.

    Bec is 120% right.

I have read interviews with some of the bigger mainstream bloggers and they all say blogging for them is an hours-a-day job. I remember someone said they edited their blog post about 5 times before it ends up being posted.

Although I have to wonder, does writing a lot on adult blog matter since people presumably come for the video and images, beyond having some keywords in the post for the search engines?

    jIgG:

I would presume so, if you wanted to have a blog that draw return readers. Just to single out two, LavenderLounge Mark and the GayPornBlog guys have sites that I read regularly and recommend because those guys are all good writers.

Oh, and another one I just thought of: Treasure Island Media's blog. Their writer is a big asset for them.

Bec... I think what you say is very true, and precisely why I have not attempted a blog. It alone would be practically a full time job to do it properly.

    Sexgayfree: good luck!

    Steve

I would say that a good gay porn blog can become it's own gay man's universe, and one site in particular that I think worth studying is David K's Nightcharm - it's a gay magazine and paysite tour all wrapped up into one site. But this approach takes writing skill along with a lot of effort and time to maintain. I'm sure he upsells quite well with this, but I'd also guess he has a lot of reader's that just hang out in the "lobby" ... what he writes about and how he does it is mental entertainment that will gather a lot of bookmarking.

If you want your writer to give you crap, then pay them crap. But if you want content that is original, daring and actually represents a voice that surfers will specifically come to YOUR site to hear (as opposed to the myriad of other sites out there offering blogs), you should be prepared to pay your writer more than peanuts. Putting a blog together takes time, and it takes a lot of thought. The actual writing of it may only take 15 minutes, but the preparation -- cruising the Web for stories, calling up the studios and webmasters for tips, etc. etc. -- can take hours. You'd be surprised how much work goes into doing a good, consistent blog. And if you want a blog that rocks, your writer will post at least 3-5 times a day.
