Darn. I, and a lot of other people, were hoping it would move to somewhere -- ANYWHERE -- other than the Diplomat.

Just about everybody we talked to had abysmally bad problems with the Diplomat, not just last year, but the year before as well. Billing errors, bad service, rude people, rooms not cleaned, you name it.

I wrote such a scathing response to their customer service survey that the GM of the hotel called, and I basically told him that it seemed like no one there gave a shit, including him. To his credit, he listened and made noises like he cared. I guess we'll see if it's any better this year.

Surely AVN heard the complaints? Or is there a sweetheart deal in place?
