Couple Of Good Movies To Rent This Weekend...

On the off-chance anyone is looking for a couple of movies to rent this weekend, RENT and Domino come highly reccomended

I thought Domino was going to be a lot worse than it was but, i was very pleasantly surprised, its a bit transparent in part with the storyline but non the less, still a good movie.

RENT is also a nice movie, we leased it a couple of days ago and we've watched it 2 or 3 times now, this is definately going to be a buyer for us

    Regards,

    Lee

Wallace & Gromit in 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit' and 'Corpse Bride'.

W&G is full of laughs, and is a must see.

I am looking forward to Domino. I know that this (and most others like) is transparent, but sometimes that is why I go to see them. I am a movie junkie (or at least once was), so I am pretty much in to any kind of flick.

Okay, I will draw a line at pony tailed S.Segal, VanDumby *AHh* and the likes. I will admit I really do love most cheesy Shaolin flicks, especially when they are dub with voices that sound like John Wayne.

Were going to get you. Were going to get you. Were going to get you.

I enjoyed Rent for what it was, but can't say I was thrilled with it. I'm just not a fan of Chris Columbus movies. He glossed it up to the point where none of those people even looked like junkies, just Greenwhich Village hipsters in vintage clothes. I'm also not a big fan of the music in the movie, but Rosario Dawson singing "Out Tonight" was pretty H-O-T!

I've heard wretched things about Domino, so I might wait for cable on that one.

One movie I would highly recommend is Mirror Mask. I love Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean (The Sandman comics), so I was definitely looking forward to their first feature-film collaboration, and I was not disappointed. It's Alice in Wonderland for adults, very dark and dreamy and VERY artsy. I saw it twice in the theater when it was out last year. Was definitely one of my fave movies. I just got the DVD last night. Check it out.

I enjoyed both of these, Wallace & Gromit more so than Corpse Bride (the art was amazing, but I felt the story was just so-so), but I would also recommend both.

Agreed! I do so love puppy, and the cute bunnies, always waiving hello.

Thank you for telling me about Mirror Mask I will look for it on Monday.

Have any of you seen Night Watch?
