Nah, he's a rabid Synthol user. It's a site-based oil that some bodybuilders inject to fill out there muscles. It's nasty when abused... like his case, for example. The extreme cases most likely come from body dysmorphic disorder.

Do a google image search, you'll see a bunch of guys using it.

You see him talking about steroid use and getting one of his arms infected through using dirty needles. It shows part of his self videotaped attempt to drain an infection in one of his bicepts... an attempt that failed and ended in him going to hospital and having his arm cut open, which later gave him scar tissue that deforms his bicept muscle.

I honestly can't look at that pic. That's just grotesque. And I don't have much sympathy for the guy either, or for any guy who thinks he has to inject himself full of chemicals in order to look "better." I just don't understand the obsession with muscles. They're nice when they look natural, but anything other than that, to me, is unnecessary.

It's one reason why I am so uncomfortable by some of the models who do films for Blue Blake and Colt. Not only do I feel these guys play into the stereotype that "bigger is better" (which, to me, is the WRONG thing to be teaching a community that supposedly prides itself on acceptance of diversity and its ability to think outside the box of mainstream opinion), but I think it sends the message that in order to be hot, you should want to look like those guys. So many gay men feel alienated and ostracized because of body image, especially now that virtually every gay magazine and website is saturating the community with images of impossibly perfect-looking (and often Photoshopped) men that don't resemble real people.

I wish I could understand the attractions to these men who look like gorillas and aranguatangs, but it just eludes me. Hmmmm, animals... hey, maybe that's it... maybe some of us really want to sleep with animals. Bestiality, anyone?

People in our community are generally smart. I think it's more eye candy then it is role model setting. Most of us know, or know someone who knows, some hopeless Muscle Mary that's on this or that routine using this or that supplement that spends this or that many days at the gym.

Everyone has their own thing, their niche where they feel they fit in the world with a group they relate to. For some it's Musle Mary, for others it's Drag, others it's metrosexual, or parenting, or being average, or being nerdy, etc.

Before modern day media there were the gladiators in rome, or the warriors of a village, etc. etc. The idolized alpha male has always existed in society. Society will always have people who are insecure and will try to obtain something to boost their self esteim whether it be muscles, money, sex partners, clothes, cars, boats, houses, etc. For those few insecure people that's their problem. For most of us muscle men are just eye candy.

Yeah, they're real. But gotta be something wrong with someone's self esteem to do something like that. He's not even recognized by and bodybuilding establishments because it's not a natural growth. And it's not even attractive.
