Thread: What kinds of emails do you get from your paysite customers?

    What kinds of emails do you get from your paysite customers?

    for those of you who run paysites, what kinds of emails, or requests, or problems do you get form your customers?

    Are they susually pretty good natured, or pains in the ass? A lot of technical problems?
    Always requesting more porn and more guys, or are they usually pretty satisfied with that you show and your updates?
    and how is retention?

    I'm weighing the pros and cons of opening a paysite again.

    I did it a while ago but closed it down, but kind of thinking of going back into it agian.

    You know, i havent had a single email from any of the customers to the Condom Cash sites as yet.

    I guess they are all happy with the way things are inside the site or, any problems they have had, they have been able to fix thanks to our tech support page

    For our mainstream, gay & straight: the only e-mail I see are cancellation requests. (I am surprised at how many persons STILL send their credit card info - they are the perfect arguement against the theory of evolution). And of course, there is always my fave... CANCEL MY INTERNET NOW!
    Okay, I am on my way with my trusty wire cutters!

    However, when talking about our bigdick sites: members always ask if they can get the models e-mail addy, so they can chat with them and yadda-yadda. Also, (because of my nic, 'Paco', which is also the name of one of our CG enhanced models) I am asked when I will be doing another 'shoot'.

    Second argument to the theory: how is it people do not SEE that our stuff is enhanced, it's not like they are slight enlargements.

    a varitey of emails running from telling us what a HOT site we have to questions about technical issues. The bulk of the customer emails are questions about the models (can I have his email...do the models escort, etc.).

    I try to answer customer emails the same day they are sent and I often get emails telling me that we offer excellent customer service which is always nice to hear also!

    I have never had a complaint from a members only like 2 e-mails ever and both wanted to cancel their memberships, but they where really nice about it.

    70% of our customers are nice, 30% are nasty and 60% are idiots. (Rounding error.)

    We get a lot of cancellation requests when they could have easily read the confirmation email from CCBill and done the cancellation themselves.

    Words of praise now and then which tend to counter the incredibly vile emails
    (" I want my renewable subscription CANCELLED NOW!!! And, I mean NOW!
    I expect to hear from you with the "RIGHT WORDS" in 24 hours. Don't hand me some excuse you need more time or it takes 2 weeks to process or whatever. YOU HAVE 24 HOURS!") that make you want to reach for the Uzi.

    Emails

    In the last two years I'm pleased to say we've only had one negative e-mail from any members of our five sites. 'This is the worst site I've ever seen.' Not very flattering, or useful as critisism I must say. When I checked his membership 'activity' through the stats package it seemed that he'd/she'd had viewed just about every page/image/story and probably downloaded everything he wanted overnight before asking to have his money back.

    I should add that it wasn't a webmaster using GSC, and we do get possitive contact from members, though on the hole members seem to be quite passive when it comes to interacting. Even with the interactive stories on bookpuppy.co.uk where members can suggest what happens next and the 'have Cal draw you' on the erotic drawings site, we get little feedback. So we assume it's 'no news is good news' and look forward to CCBills new subscription emails instead.
