We are using PE Cash, because they have a broad range of items, as well they cater to both gay and straight. However, DVD sales are just not there!
Actually, sales were best when we sold directly (we picked the titles and we shipped them out) from our sites (in, out and exits): members seem to trust the site operators (at least our do), so when we 'recommended' something, it sold very very well. Of course, all we sold were TRUE big cock titles, which made it easy for members to find and purchase. (I believe giving a person too many choices can overwhelm them and risk loosing sales), in addition, we got really sick of the many 'video stores' that simply have no clue how to organize.
A prime example would be straight BIG COCK (BC) titles: A visitor would chose BC from the drop down and the results were simply stunning (insulting, in my eyes) --- Anal, DP and gonzo. Now I am not saying the categories are what's insulted me, it is the fact that you're NOT giving me EXACTLY what I am looking for ... BIG COCK TITLES!
Yah yah … “but they are just trying to ensure a sale is made …” and blah blah. Well, if a large selection of BC is offered, the rest is not necessary.
TLAvideo is stable. And they have a very large selection in a very well-organized and attractive website. They are also obviously familiar with the gay porn movie market, and carry exclusives, freebies, director's cuts and other promotionals which are good sale makers. And their retail prices are usually pretty good. I have used them from the very beginning.
That reliability and salability is what for me makes up for the "just ok" commission rate of 13%. Also, TLAvideo sells just to the USA and Canada. And TLAvideo very shamefully only credits you IF your referred lead makes their purchase within twenty minutes of arriving on their site. (I really, really hate that)
If you wish to sell bareback titles, you'll certainly need to find other avenues, as they do not dirty their hands with such things. As an alternative, you might want to give RADvideo a try. PornTeam seems pretty nice for its specific area, and they are always at the shows.... so I give them high marks for accessibility.
I send my bareback traffic to MovieMountain, and they sell sell sell. MovieMountain pays a nicer 15% commission, and their cookie duration length is much more affiliate friendly!
Oh, and they ship to many countries around the world... and you see them listed out in your stats reporting... nice touch! Their negatives: MovieMountain is a gay component of a much larger straight retail operation. Their selection is much more limited, and stuff they sell today will dissapear if its not continuously in demand. And I've found mistaks and typos.
Another alternative is to utilize some affiliate programs of the movie studios. Treasure Island Media and Hot Desert Knights run good affiliate programs for their movies. I very much like TIM's site because they do not attempt to draw my lead off and away to their own membership site, and their product is very popular.

I thought about Movie Mountain, but I can't be bothered. Their sister site, Men on the Net, has a stick up their butt about fisting and pee - they wouldn't list my site because I had some preview pictures with a guy who had two or three fingers up a guy's butt - they said it was fisting. But when I went through their link list they had lots of stuff listed that was equally as "bad" although that's not to right word.
So fine, don't send me traffic, I'll live, I just won't send any back.

As Steve said, they're primarily 18-27, thin to muscled (as in, not much if any bear content and I don't think they have any older content.) But if what you're doing fits into that marketspace, I highly recommend them.

thanks for the info. I have my dvd's on RAD Video already. They have been very helpful in getting my stuff on their site. They are also very eager to work with local (we're both in San Diego), companies as well as gay owned & operated. I haven't been able to get the TLA guy on the phone or email, he keeps pretty busy. Porn team didn't seem to want to answer my request, whatever.

I Will Start producing my own DVD what are some good distrubiter's and good places to sell them on the internet ...
We have our own store and do well with our own product line.
We have added a line of Joe Gage and Jack Wrangler re-releases on DVD that our distributor has given us to carry and, we have selectively chosen a few other titles to sell.
We were forced to put up our own cart in the beginning because so few would carry bareback and, half of the few that did, had trouble paying.
Bareback aside, TLA has an enormous selection but, we don't like their politics...Rad is a good outfit and pays their bills. I imagine all other carts we are carried by also pay their bills otherwise, we wouldn't be shipping them new titles...
