    Re - Invention ( A cause for peace )

now that boyfunk.com has brang up the thing about renaming your models and such.. How do you think it is good for someone who use to be a model re invent himself as someone who may or may not want to be a model anymore.... and is moving in a different direction with life..???

Also how do you feel are good ways to remove yourself from the industry after being in it so long! making sure everyone is happy and you can move on with life successfully and happily without and recourse in future jobs or careers??

do you think males such as me " kelly taylor " dont have much of a future or career cause of porn or do you think there is appropriate things you can or should do to make sure the porn wont end up being your life all your life..

Im not saying porn is a bad thing cause of course I love everyone here and everyone in the industry and yeah if I got a good job working in the industry other than being a model yeah I might go ahead and do it but!!! Where Im at right now Im very happy and the biggest question I have is...

Just cause I did porn do you think it could end up causing me problems or mess up future plans in my life?!?!?! I dont neccessarly regret what I have done but there is other things in life I have interests in as well and they are calling for me and I believe I can conquer and achieve these things I have wanted to do since I was little.. Like I said before getting back to the real me and everything...

Heheheh.... this doesnt mean Im done with the industry I just want some views on what you think about this matter and or "if" it could be a problem in the future etc...

can having done porn be a problem later in life? yes. does it have to be? no.

i've known a lot of people who did porn or were strippers and when they stopped doing it - or even while they did do it - they lied to people. lying about doing something that's on publically sold DVDs is a bad idea because it only takes someone who knows you a little to go into an adult book store and catch a glance of you on a cover. or perhaps someone could accidentally stumble across a website with you on it. then the fact that you did porn is out - and worse, the fact you lied is out.

if you did porn and now want to be a doctor or a lawyer, it could be an issue although it doesn't have to be. other professionals like real estate also have an ethics code, so it all depends.

of course if you end up in a relationship with someone who has never been with another guy and you tell him you've only had one lover and then he finds out you've had far more, mostly on video, well - that could also be a problem.

honestly i don't believe in re-inventing yourself. if you re-invented yourself to become a porn actor, perhaps you could re-find what is still inside you. if you didn't, why not just be the wonderful you you already are, but not in porn?

i really believe in to thine own self, be true. whether you dig ditches, dedicate your life to religion or work in porn, be yourself. keep in contact with what you feel about things, what you love, what makes you uncomfortable. and then you only have to be the one person who you already are - and you can spend your entire life on a journey to find out more and more about yourself

I believe that we can do anything we want to do, the only limiting factor is our imagination. I also believe that there are consequences for past behaviours, as well as benefits, and where we let it take us is well in our control.

I think the most important thing that most people forget is to just be happy with who they are and what they do. I try never to let me past limit my future,

maybe re invention is the wrong word ... I didnt mean it that way.. Sorry basschick... I didnt mean to offend more a less...

what you said about " finding yourself " is more of what it is about and porn I think just isnt me! I want a LTR with someone and open relationships and casual sex just arent working out for and I dont know Im not strong enough for it but I know now what I want and I want to share my life with someone and I just want it to be just with that someone all for me! and no one else hehehehe....

I have so many talents and things I can do and before I did porn there was so much I wanted to do and so many doors that I had open...
not that porn is a bad thing.. cause I love you all and Im no ashamed..!! I met some of the best people in my whole life in the industry and I will continue to love and be there friend forever!

I do believe I re-invented myself to do porn and maybe that was the wrong thing to do! THE IMPORTANT THING.. Is now I know what I want and need to do.. and that Im happy! I just wanted some incite on this subject.. I mean not offense to anyone and I hope I havent made anyone mad with this thread .. Cause I dont regret any of it.. I came away with alot of knowledge and experiences!!

AND I WOULD NEVER LIE TO ANYONE ABOUT ME DOING PORN EVER! AND NEVER HAVE! ALSO I WOULD NEVER NEVER TELL SOMEONE I HAVE BEEN WITH ONE PERSON HAHA CAUSE AFTER THEY HAD SEX WITH ME THEY WOULD KNOW BETTER... HAHAHA THAT ISNT MY STYLE OF CHARACTER TO LIE LIKE THAT .. NOR WILL I EVER..

MY MORE SERIOUS QUESTIONS ... Where I guess.. how to move on and what do you think are important things for ex porn to do and remember when moving on with life and what are certain things to take into consideration and understand for myself and my well being etc.....

hehe sometimes I say things that come out wrong!!! sorry everyone
just looking for support from somewhere I know where I can get it!
And here is the best place I can think of I will get real awnsers and real people that I care about giving me there honest truth so that is why I asked the question!

I dont want anyone to think Im ashamed or anything or Im getting out cause I think it is nasty CAUSE I DONT! IM THE KING OF RIMM JOBS AND I LOVE BOOTY AND IM PROUD OF MY WORK IN PORNO AND TRUST ME ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME KNOWS IM PROUD OF MY WORK... Cause Im not being vain when I say this.. I just think it is good... Well atleast I hoipe so...
*Bites tongue* Much peace and love Kelly Taylor

my models "transition" from porn to mainstream , i photograph for both worlds , the majority of the time it's ..."new girlfriend doesn't want me to do porn so do you have any other work for me?...
i had responded to another post sometime ago about the "shelf-life" of a pornstar and the "stages" of transition but that has to do with someone that intends to stay in porn till the end. ( ron J*remy )
contrary to popular belief not all porn stars die in seedy hotels of drug overdoses some actually start mainstream buisnesses and lead normal lives and persue other ventures not requiring sheets and gallons of lube.
the past is the past and unless it's relevant to your future "Mr.president" i wouldn't worry about it haunting you and/or creating too much of a stir , seems like everyone these days has a dirty little film hidden somewhere.
in regards to relationships i wouldn't be in a hurry to secure one , sounds like your trying to find/explore yourself so i would wait until you do before you go looking for someone else.
and my imparting words of wisdom/insanity are be happy in whatever you decide to do.

    Kelly,

You're going through a big transition. How wonderful for you! Self discovery is painful, but it's also amazingly wonderful.

One thing is for sure: in porn, if you're in front of the camera, you need a back plan. If you're hot, you won't be forever. If while you're hot, you're socking the money away or working on building up alternate skills, then you might be able to weather your demise later on. Because let's face it, porn is always looking for a fresh, new face.

You seem to have some skills in some other areas, you manage your own website, don't you? You write. You want to start a blog. So why not continue in the business, but take a role behind the scenes. Start your own site, start your own production company.

And while things are fresh in your mind, why don't you sit down and make a list of all of the things you didn't like about your experience thus far. Make that your anti-mission statememnt, in other words, if you end up creating a company that produces porn, try to move away from those things that bugged you, try to help the people who work for you have a different experience.

How can your experience help somebody who is just starting now?

    Cheers,
    Michael

Thanks Michael you always have such amazing things to say.. I appreciate it very much thanks alot.... Also I have alot more than Im good at:
I danced for 3 years before I did porn as well as I can cook anything and make it look like the mona lisa chip knows Im a good cook and I love to cook!!!

I can dance like non other and Im really really good at doing promoting and I can alot of computer stuff as well.. I know that I made of alot and I like to think of myself as kinda of a "jack of all trades" if you will!
you get what I mean.. I cann pretty much do anything I put my mind to and it usually turns out really successfull and completly amazing. So Im confident of succeeding I just am figuring out what!?!?

and yes... It has been painful but the pain has brang me back to my old self...
I remember before I started doing porn I use to print and catalog ads for like gottschalks and jcpenny haha and one time I got in a stupid mall GAP ads etc... so I was going to modeling school when I met boyfunk/cuteboyvideos
I was doing alot of other things hehe just some history about me...
I have completed school as far as high school goes and I went to college here and there before trying out different things and never sticking to them.. But this time it seems right
and yes I have some new sites going up and Im very knowledgable as far doing stuff in the industry!
If I had to I could complelty, author, edit my own dvds and come up with dvd art for the disc and packaging.... I have learned how to shoot photography well and I have learned about lighting really well as well as filming videos! I have a ton of interviews from LAS VEGAS of many porn stars it is really fun and Im in it and it is unreleased as of yet
so I know I will be fine

I have alot of people who care about me and that love me and that is what really matters and makes me feel amazing!

I have traveled everywhere.. not many places I havent been and Im thankful for that! I have met alot of amazing people in the industry such as you michael that I look up to.. I feel really whole inside for once it is quite an amazing feeling :beauty:

    ......
It is perfectly fine to be in porn before and during the practice of law. Things that keep you out of becoming a doctor, lawyer or realtor are crimes and drug or alcohol addictions. Acting in adult material is not illegal and won't keep you out of a profession.
Even past crimes can be forgiven, as one of the best criminal defense lawyers I have ever worked with spent nearly 10 years in the California penal system for trafficking cocaine. After getting out of prison, he went to college, then law school and was admitted to practice--ten years after getting out. [most state bar associations require you to wait 10 years after you have been released from probation before applying to the bar, however....] Addictions that are under control are not an impediment either--I am an alcholic but I have 7 years of continuous sobriety behind me. Addictions that are NOT under control get doctors and lawyers suspended or barred from practice.
Acting in porn won't keep you out of most professions, but acting in porn can, however, keep you out of politics....
