One thing is for sure: in porn, if you're in front of the camera, you need a back plan. If you're hot, you won't be forever. If while you're hot, you're socking the money away or working on building up alternate skills, then you might be able to weather your demise later on. Because let's face it, porn is always looking for a fresh, new face.
You seem to have some skills in some other areas, you manage your own website, don't you? You write. You want to start a blog. So why not continue in the business, but take a role behind the scenes. Start your own site, start your own production company.
And while things are fresh in your mind, why don't you sit down and make a list of all of the things you didn't like about your experience thus far. Make that your anti-mission statememnt, in other words, if you end up creating a company that produces porn, try to move away from those things that bugged you, try to help the people who work for you have a different experience.
How can your experience help somebody who is just starting now?
Cheers,
Michael
