How are your sponsor sales recently?

Mine are almost non existent for this period.

Sponsor 1:
Total 3,796 2,064 0 NA 0 $ 0.00

Sponsor 2:
Total 1392 922 0 0:922 $0.00 Site, Program, Campaign

Granted, I have made few new sites, but there's a steady inflow of nice traffic to older sites from Search Engines and Link Lists...

Am I the only one, and am I doing something wrong here?

It has been usual for things like this to happen from time to time, then BANG I'd get several or a lot of sales and everything would look normal again, but this time the stalemate seems to last a bit too long...

by any chance are they ccbill sponsors? ccbill signups have been rather low all week, there is unsubstantiated rumours that ccbill does a hard scrub every once in a while to get their chargeback ratios in line, maybe this is one of those unsubstantiated weeks.

I think they both use Epoch as their 1st biller and CCBill as the second one.

In any case what you said makes perfect sense to me. I just hope they'll soon turn off that damn scrub switch! It's getting worse and worse each year.

Some sponsor are ok and others are waaaaay down... and yes CCbill sponsors are sucking right now for me.

Having been in the adult sales business since 1993, I've always noted a bit of a downturn between Lent and Pass Over.

And/or until after April 15 in the US...

Last month, the unsubstiated ccbill scrub finished up on the 11th of Feb. The week prior to that sales were sluggish to non-existent. So it should be any day now.

For something that doesn't exist, it sure is regular like clockwork.

Ya man last month my sales where really down, the second week of the month like this months are. Last month I assumed it was Vday, but its starting to look like a trend.

You also need to factor in:

* Xmas hang-over, credit card payments needing to be made for Xmas presents.

* The new Republican law requiring the higher monthly credit card payment toward reducing balances.

That is going to eat into discretionary income for watching adult entertainment on the web.

Other factors:

* If your product is not exclusive, there could be oversaturation of sites offering the same Euro uncut guys.

* Maturity of the marketplace: this isn't 1995 anymore where all this free porn is a new thing.

* Oversaturation of free porn... too many TGPs giving away free dick pics, feeds the desires of free porn surfers who aren't going to spend a dime on subscription dick pics.

If we were in January then yes, but not 3 (almost 4) months in to the year.

Higher payment of credit card bills wont have any effect on people stopping using their CC Cards.

Possible although, given some of the sponsors our GWW Community members are currently using, im going to say this isnt really a factor either.

Free porn really has nothing to do with sales being down either. The free porn was there last week, as it will be next week.

Free porn surfers were also around last week, as they will be for years to come, again, this isnt really a factor.
