    MANcheck’s Getting Bigger and Harder

MANcheck’s Getting Bigger and Harder … Appoints Two New Directors

March 28, 2006, Toronto, Ontario – On March 28, MANcheck announced the appointment of Ben Soares as their new Director of Public Relations. “Ben’s a fresh, young businessman with a flare with identifying and creating new, hot ways of branding in the world of online adult entertainment,” says Todd Cooper, MANcheck’s CEO.

“This is an exciting time for MANcheck,” says Cooper, “because we are in the process of strengthening and re-inventing the MANcheck brand. This is a perfect time for someone with Ben’s skills and energy to join the revival.”

Ben brings experience in both the fashion and adult entertainment worlds, and in his short time in the adult industry he has shown he’s a premier up-and-comer. “I love change,” says Soares, “I’m really excited to be a part of the reinvention of a brand that has the power and longevity to propel itself into the future. I’ve admired MANcheck for a long time, this is a dream come true.”

MANcheck has been serving up gay porn to hungry surfers since 1997. And today, is still one of the largest gay megasites on the Internet.

Cooper also announced today that longtime MANcheck veteran Michael Kealy has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. Kealy has been with MANcheck since 2001 when he started as a web designer and he’s probably better known to most by his webmaster board handle – dzinerbear. “For the past two years Michael has been working closely with the webmasters and affiliates and strengthening MANcheck’s presence in the webmaster community,” says Cooper. Kealy is a SEO (search engine optimization) guru and has helped solidify MANcheck’s positioning in mainstream search engines, “The results have been steady and solid growth in traffic,” says Cooper.

He also adds that Kealy developed Universal Bear as one of MANcheck’s premium brands and Cooper says the industry can look forward to more exciting brands from MANcheck in the coming months.

Both Kealy and Soares will be attending the Phoenix Forum (March 30 to April 1).

Sorry to be such a media whore today guys, but we're trying to get all of this out before Phoenix.

I wanted to also introduce Ben Soares to the board. He'll be along shortly to say "hello" and if you're going to Phoenix you'll get a chance to meet him. I've onnly known Ben for about three weeks now, but I really enjoy working with him. I love his energy.

And as always, I'm still here to help out with whatever webmastering questions you guys have. My new position doesn't change that. I'll just be busier.

    Cheers,
    Michael

Geez, no offence, but if I were the owner of MANcheck, I wouldn't be here. I'd be on a beach somewhere. But thanks for the promotion.

    Always so hostile.

Michael is the Director of Sales and Marketing so chatting on the forums IS his job. Why assume that the owners are too good to visit the boards when they may not even be part of the day-to-day operation. The CEO of General Motors doesn't sell you the car himself. It's called delegation* :dunce:
