For some reason, the last two weeks for us have rocked my world in signups.

Our own signups are up for this week and if the next couple days remain the same we'll be up a little this month.

Our affiliate sales are about the same for this month though ?/?

My affiliate sales for other sites are really dead too, that is what I am looking for new ones now. Maybe its the Tax thing, but I did not see this kinda problem last year.

Maybe dead is a bad word, very sporadic revolving around the 1st and 15th of very month would have been better

There is a marketing model now where a few big sites trick small webmasters into driving traffic to them as though the road had no end.

But, at some point, the customer base must peak and plateau! There is not a bottomless supply of customers.

When you have a few top providers and many smaller webmasters driving traffic to them, there must come a point when the customer base dries up, OR the customers are driven to those top level providers by so many smaller webmasters, that the end result is 1) They seen it, had it, don't want it anymore, or 2) they are already signed up, so you're not going to have any more conversions of the already converted.

When smaller webmasters sell non-exclusive content direct, customers are going to choose which webmaster to convert through to see the same guys!

Monday was rocking for me and tuesday
but we and today really sucks

I think surfers are waiting for the start of the new month so they can play on their credit cards again ... Sat & Sun should see increased results.

Until the start of this year I used to look at my operation daily, then weekly (which made me react sometimes too quickly with altering my traffic links and causing me to think "what am i doing wrong") - now i just glance weekly and go by the month.

Jan i did great sales, Feb 10% down (but then there's only 28 days) and this month i am looking at just 5% down on jan - the worst days being from the 27th to now, which makes me see the "waiting for next month" syndrome for credit card users.
