LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - A porn baron who ran a major racket supplying obscene videos from his bedroom has been jailed for nine months.

David Mason, 27, had 5,000 obscene films and 16 DVD burners hooked up to a computer when police raided his home.

Vice squad officers also seized eight knives, including a meat cleaver, lock and flick knives as well as a fake police warrant card.

Mason, of The Village, Charlton, south-east London, was stopped by officers in his car outside an industrial estate in nearby Woolwich on September 16 and found to have 1,000 porn films in the vehicle.

He was arrested and officers then searched his home.

Mason pleaded guilty to a string of offences including possession of obscene material for publication for gain, making for sale or hire an article infringing copyright, handling stolen goods and making a false instrument - the fake warrant card.

After he was jailed for nine months, Inspector Chris Bedwell of the Met's Obscene Publications Unit said: "It is always rewarding when someone who deals in this sort of depraved material is found guilty.

"This man was running a large scale video and DVD copying operation from his bedroom producing thousands of copies many of which involved urination and various other degrading acts."

I guess any schmuck with a DVD burner can be considered a porn baron these days LOL

Its interesting to see that watersports was on the list of 'obscene' list, considering there are quite a few producers in the UK that still actively promote that niche.

Well sounds like he had some knives in his kitchen, some video props, and was making some videos with adults that others did not like. Ya I say we hang him from the highest tree we can find.
