StopGayDays.com... Do They Have a Point?

What I'm wondering is... do these guys have a point? Even if it's just a little tiny one?

God knows I can't stand Christian fundamentalists, but I have to say... I'm a bit disappointed that the gays choose a venue like Disney World or Disneyland as a place to have sex in public. I mean, is it appropriate? Don't some people take their kids there on that day?

As guilty as I have been of having sex in public (gotta love a leather bar beer bust), I don't know that I would have the bad taste to do so on the Peter Pan ride or the It's a Small World ride at Disneyland. I mean, really, people. That's just a little trashy.

If I was running Disney, I don't know that I would want to keep this thing going. Imagine having to clean someone's jizz out of the seats or the floors of those ride carts and trams? At DISNEY, of all places.

Gay Days is AT Disney, but it is NOT a Disney-sanctioned event.

The people running Disney aren't the ones to decide to keep it going or not. Also, be careful about trusting the material on the stopgaydays.com website--many of those images were taken off property at the ancillary parties and not at Disney at all. Those nasty images that look like they came from a circuit party really ARE at a private circuit party, not in front of Mr & Mrs Newlywed and their 6 innocent children at Main Street USA. There are a LOT of pictures of two men kissing on that website, as if THAT is offensive. As long as a man and a woman are allowed to kiss in public, then a man and a man or woman and woman should be allowed to kiss in public. I agree that sex on the Its a Small World ride is completely out of line, but I don't see any problems with the less overt public displays of affection.

I have no problems with moderate kissing and hugging and anything else, so long as people aren't making out in a sexual manner in public. I'm talking handjobs, blowjobs and anything else of that nature.

I'm sure these people are exaggerating in several cases, but I also know how gay men can be when they get together in in large groups on a hot day while drinking....

well dumb fags are always going fuck in public at events like Gay Days, and unless the organizers AND Disney put the kibosh on it nobody has the right to bitch the event gets pulled.

I've been to Disney and Bush gardens and i don't really care for either, but I have yet to see any straight people acting that way and in such numbers.

Everyone whines how people say gay is all about sex, then you go to a stupid pride parade or Gay days and you see that. It can't always be someone else's fault.

If this even gets yanked then well ... we know who to blame.

While I think these type of events are fine for the gay community to celebrate ...... sometimes the guys let their physical excitement go a little over the edge (sucking dick, indecent exposure, etc....) in public.

Sure, straight couples get carried away in public too ... but they also don't have the label of "sexual deviant" hanging over their heads by the fundamentalists and evangelicals.

If you peruse some of the conservative right wing political forums, you will come across posters that take a very strong stand against homosexuals and what they percieve as the gay agenda. To them gay people are deviants, pedophiles and "evil" people.

Google "gay agenda" and see what you find ......

As for the pictures on the stopgaydays website, it appears that they have "borrowed" many of the pictures from other sites and private event parties outside of Disney World.

It just goes to show how they will use manipulation to reinforce their point to their followers.

I don't partake in anything wild, so guys acting like the ones in some of those pics is just as shocking to me as it is to those crazy zealots. Part of me wants to judge them as disgusting, but you only live once and maybe public sex is a huge thrill. It dosn't hurt me in a club, that's for sure. At Disney though, that's patheticly stupid. I don't see any nasty ones actually from a Disney location though!

I don't know a single gay man or woman that is out to hurt or even disrupt the life of Christians, but I can hardly in a million years say the reverse is true. The ones who have a problem with other people's sexuality, they all need to collectively shut the fuck up. It's amazing how the fundamentals are completely lost on them, but they can nitpick the most pointless shit that really dosn't effect the outcome of their lives unless they let it.
