My family told me it was a pie in the sky dream and that I should get a “Real Job” that was over 3 years ago now. Maybe that is one of the reasons I put little stock in other people's criticism. :honest:
Being the type that does not pull punches, I told them how it is, on my first day, so there are no issues, really.
Of course, being Italian, some of the males & females are apprehensive about gay porn (btw, to me that means both), but for the most part the mainstream popularity of our industry has helped.
A good percentage of the members of la familia are liberal (in the true sense, not the diluted political def. of N.America) thinkers, so they really do not care, so long as it is not CP.
It also helps that we really do not do 'shop talk', of any sort - many of us view work as an inconvenience of life and it does not take much to get away from the disease - talking about it is truly pointless.
If anything, many are simply glad I did not stick with my third career choice (which is where I received the title 'Paco').

my son, daughter and i originally started our business together. my daughter asked us to buy her out soon after (which we did) but my son and i are still business partners.

I finally told my mother two weeks ago that I no longer work for my previous employer and that I am now into "internet marketing". She didn't ask a single question after that. Lol.
All of my siblings know and only one thinks it's bad. My most conservative sister is overjoyed. She thinks it's great that I work for myself. The sister that thinks it's bad is crazy and has a horrible gambling addiction... so it's not like I respect her opinion.
Pretty much everyone I told needed to be reassured that I wasn't doing anything disgusting or illegal. And once I did that, that's when they start asking all of the fun questions. How do you make money? How much do you make? What are your sites? My niece even interviewed me for a college class paper,
