How do you judge whether or not the purchase was a success?

Do you base traffic success on the quantities of traffic delivered or, do you base it on the cost of the traffic based on the profit made from the purchase?

If you base it on profit levels, what type of a profit would you expect to see for you to consider a purchase a successfull one or not?

5$ or less per sigh-up, I even use my own affiliate programs to test traffic too really see what its doing. That said I have not really found that a good way to go, like I have said before if their traffic was really that good they could get over 10$ per sigh-up with any affiliate program. Most paid traffic places are nothing but mass trash traffic “people looking for nothing but free stuff”. :boo:

I base it on profitability. Hard to say how much profit I would expect. Most sources are low quality enough that *any* profit could be surprising.

I stick to a few proven ppc sources and I play with the traffic. Anything from 2:1 to 3:1 return is typical for me.

When I was buying adwords traffic, I was happy with 1:1 on each signup and made money on the rebills. Some ads did way better than 1:1 but others did absolute shit.
