Hi Everybody,

I have joinned the forum as my boss want to sell porn through his web site so interested in buying content and learn more about the gay porn industry.

I am not up to speed with the terms you guys use like TPG´s etc as these all mean nothing to me so apologise for any stupid questions at the beginning.

If anybody has a list of the short names and abbreviations you use like what does TPG etc mean that would be great as a start.

Chris, welcome to the board. Take a look around and see what is already posted, there is heaps of info here. And make sure you dive into the different forums to see specifics like content and hosting deals.

Ok what kinda boss do you have that does not know what a TPG´s is. I will tell ya what it is, its a waist of time and bandwidth If he has content, and a members site with an affiliate program, he might want to let me create some sites for him.:toff: “Drama!!!”

yeah! that's a great idea...the "KING of stupid" here...I don't know FTP from CSS here and would keep the 12:00 flashing on my VCR if not for the loving care and frisky spririt of my long time partner, Cameron Cruise.

Welcome to a great community Chris. As Chili said, have a look around and check out the tutorial / article section too for some great tips and hints that should help out quite a bit.

AVS = Adult Verification Service now known as AEN
AEN = Adult Entertainment Network which is a collection of sites under an umbrella where a surfer pays a fee to gain access to your site and all the other sites within that companies umbrella. Best one out there... Mancheck
FHG = Free Hosted Galleries which are promotional galleries of pictures hosted by the sponsor to save you bandwidth in promoting them
Maxpower = An irritant most ignore
Traffic Leaks = where you have a page that leads to places outside your site
VOD = Video on Demand
2257 = Legal BS requirement from the US Congress
FSC = Free Speech Coalition
