BURSTING WITH FLAVOR! “BULGING JOCKSTRAPS” REMASTERED ON DVD!

“Bulging Jockstraps has so much meat packed into so many different
jockstraps that even the most demanding, voracious devourer of cotton
and elastic will get his fill.” – Studflix

“…a veritable bonanza filled with more tube steak than they had on
the Ponderosa, without ever becoming dull or ponderous.” – Drummer

Chicago, IL – April 15, 2006 — Part documentary, part jack-off exhibition, and part ball-busting sex, Bulging Jockstraps has been re-mastered by Bijou Video for its DVD debut. Directed by David White, this 1987 adult film takes viewers up close and personal into the world of the athletic supporter: from vintage models in “suspensory bandages,” to men explaining their fascination and fetish for the jockstrap, to sweaty sex scenes including film star Dane Ford servicing five studs in a locker room in the movie’s dripping finale. Bulging Jockstraps is 83 minutes long and is available for purchase on both VHS and DVD at www.bijouworld.com. For a review copy of the film, please contact Dan Gregory at Bijou Video at 312.337.3404 or email to catalog@BijouWorld.com.

Bijou Video distributes over 11,000 gay titles and is home to many films from the studios of Old Reliable (by director David Hurles), Hand in Hand (including the masterpiece Centurians of Rome), Brentwood Classics, Toby Ross (including Sexy Billy Blue, winner of Advocate Men’s Best of 1989 award), Steve Scott (who directed Screenplay, winner of 1984’s Best Gay Film from the Gay Critics Association), and J. Brian (including the pre-condom classic Seven in a Barn).

    ABOUT THE JOCKSTRAP
    - Invented in 1874 by C. F. Bennett of the Chicago sporting goods company Sharp & Smith, the jockstrap’s original intent was to provide comfort and support for bicycle jockeys riding the cobblestone streets of Boston. In 1897, Bennett's newly-formed Bike Web Company (which later became the Bike Company) patented and began mass-producing the Bike Jockey Strap. Today, Bike is still number one in jockstrap sales.

    - In the early 1900s, the Heidelberg Electric Belt – a low-voltage electric powered jockstrap – was invented and supposedly cured ailments such as kidney disorders, insomnia, and erectile dysfunction.

    - Athletic supporters keep everything safely held in place while worn under sports clothing, shorts or sweats. Variations of the garment’s design include those containing a protective cup, strapless, and snap pouch. They’re also available in a variety of colors and materials, including designer mesh, leather, or rubber.

    - Designed to isolate and support the testicles, men’s suspensories are recommended by urologists after vasectomies, sports injuries, or whenever there is tenderness, pain or swelling in the scrotum. Many guys also wear suspensory jocks to provide lift and support during exercise and running.
