Chris, your desk looks like mine actually. There are papers that I was going to read, music cds, and toys all over. (the toys are stress releasers, gifts from people.)
I had one lego truck on my desk once, and now people seem to think I need more and more of them.

I loved the note about the burnt CDs, it reminded me of a note to self that I just threw away "check CD just burnt to see if Jeff's pic are there" why didn't I just check it instead of writing the note?

Oh man, and I could have run out of room before things to point out... like the package of expensive photo-printer paper haning precariously on top of a pile of cardboard boxes, the HMV bag containing a receipt and a flyer for a sale that had ended 6 months ago.
The unnecessary second keyboard for the second computer, the beanbag lizard which I can't remember how it made it's way into my posession...
the Sony PDA covered with Rolling Stones stickers, My old cellphone sitting on top of the CD stack... it doesn't work, but I just move it around from surface to surface for some reason.
OH, and the endless spaghetti of cables connecting my computer with the Midi and Sound mixing equiptment. And the Headphones which haven't worked in years.
No wonder I can't make a relationship work.

Thanks for sharing...and yes, I too can relate. Not to the bobble-head though. I hate those things...they kinda scare me in the same way as clowns and dolls. I hate Puppetmaster....
