Thread: What is your rebill %

    What is your rebill %

A simple way to calculate your rebill percentage is to take 2 consecutive complete months, divide the rebills of the second month into the new sales and rebills of the first month.

Example: 100 rebills for April / 200 total sales (rebills and new sales) for March. 100/200=.5 or 50%

NOTE: If you have multiple sites, you may make more than one selection.

LOL I can see where this is going If we only had a E-Lie Detector I might believe 80% of this

The poll is anonymous. There is no reason for anyone to lie about their rebill percentage. And since this is GWW and not GFY, I can guarantee that the results will be much more honest.

I can say honestly I do make 2x+ as much in rebills everyday then I do in new sales. But I am hoping the new design and content I am adding will boost sales & rebills by adding many new affiliates. :$$$:

Right now rebills on Condom Cash are a little funky but, i think the reason for that is that ive been 'playing' with our members area trying to improve things, overall in the last month rebills are down around 7% but, im attributing that to changes ive made which, should be changing back to how i originally had the members area sometime in the next 10 minutes when the latest schedule update and template switch-back happens.

As it stands on a normal month however rebills are looking something like this for me right now...

    Month 1 - 53%
    Month 2 - 71%
    Month 3 - 68%
    Month 4 - 56%
    Month 5+ - 84%

That is to say, one month after their initial signup, 53% of all members rebill, at the next billing period, 71% of the 53% that rebilled in month 1 rebill, at month 3 68% of those who rebilled in month 2 recurred and in month 4 56% of the previous months transactions rebilled again its looking like, right now, once our members hit month 5 84% of the month 4 members rebill again.

In essence, if you send a member to any of our sites on Condom Cash, you have a really good chance that you'll end up making $90+ from them over a period of 6 months breaking that down by 100 sales it works out to something like this (if my math is correct ):

    100 make you $14.97
    53 make you $29.95
    38 make you $44.92
    26 make you $59.89
    14 make you $74.86
    11 make you $89.83

Those sales, after the 2nd rebill actually end up making you more than what you'd get on a PPS scale

    Regards,

    Lee

My rebill rate is over 80% but I really don't think we are talking about the same market :-)

Ah, they are just trying to make us envious. Lol. My sites occasionally retain over 70% but over a period of several months I hover around 65-68%. So I do believe it's possible. I just wish I could get consistently above 70% myself.

It's an interesting Question but needs one more bit of data to make it possible to get a realistic figure IMHO.

That would be how many of the rebills you are counting in your 'second' month were in actual fact 1st time recurrers.

I have many members with me that have been with us since they first joined one of our sites 2 yrs ago.

I know my overall figures of new sales to rebills works out at a totally different percentage to my monthly income from 1st Timers/ Rebills.

No that I'm re-reading my answer does it make sense? LOL

Basically I retain 38% of my customers long term (longer than initial sign-up plus 3 months rebills)
But My 1 time Rebill rate is up at 82%
& My 2 time Rebill Rate falls to 60%

I found it can be directly linked to updates, PLUS one really weird thing...You can update a site too often! 'Go Figure!!!!!' Its weird but true!

I have to agree with ArmpitLover, your not really getting the correct % if your counting total rebills vers total sales for a month. I worked for this porn site about 3 years ago and 95% of their income at the time came from rebills. And they got 10 to 15 new members every single day of the month. But their rebill rate was only about 75%. So they way your doing it the % would come out all wrong.

The formula is a simple calculation of rebill % and it is a legitmate statistic when comparing your website(s) to others. Lee broke his down to a finer detail and that is definitely a more valuable statistic. But I wanted to keep it simple and didn't want to muddy the waters with too many options.
