Hey everyone,
Firstly I just wanted to say hi. It's been good keeping up with the board and getting to know a few people A few months ago I acquired a site that some of you may have heard of: http://www.themalebox.com. (Hit F5 a few times at the intro page to see the different front ends).

Anyhow, I've been working very hard since then to personally redesign the site from top to bottom. I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions you might have, private or otherwise.

I'm doing my best to put something a little 'different' into each of the videos we'll be producing. That being said, I thought I'd include a pic of our latest model, Eddy at the bottom. Bright eyed and 19 and trying to get into serious bodybuilding

We have an affiliate program hosted at Verotel if anyone is interested. We pay 50/50, and I'd be happy to work with potential affiliates to personalize some sample materials or create a banner, etc.

Anyhow, I've learned a lot here in the forums in a short time. I hope at some point I can be of help to you. My background is 15 years in technical support, so I always try to eat a little computer for breakfast

I know TMB well and the previous owner. If you want to add our feeds again to that site let me know. We were their featured cam feeds until Brian had to merge with some other sites and they already had our feeds.

Well I do think verotel stats are a problem, I would spend the money I would give to Ccbill just to get an account to upgrade that, but I really would not advise anyone to only use one processor especially Ccbill. Ccbill rules changes are disturbing to me I would not want to build up lets as over 1000 rebilling members with that company to have them suddenly come up with another new rule for you site like lets say No nude people allowed in your tour or that the name of your site is no longer allowed. ECT verotel is a good and trust worthy company, if you can fix the problems with their affiliate program I would do that.

Hi Pierre, I've noticed that you've always used MyVirtualCard.com, and not Verotel. So I'm curious where you're getting your information about Verotel. It can't be from personal experience.

I would think that the most important part of an affiliate's decision to sign up for an affiliate program would be the quality of site they are signing up for, and not the credit card processor -- assuming that the processor has a good reputation and is well known, such as CCBill, or Verotel.

Actually, yes. It seems that a lot of women decided at some point that they go through all the trouble of shaving most of their body hair off only to be stuck with a mouthful of pubes when they went down on their men, so why not have the men shave too. I find it really sexy.

i don't usually sign up for verotel programs. their stats are - as pierre says - quite limited and annoying, they give far less info than ccbill stats, and they never answer support emails and i talk to a lot of people who feel the same way.

honestly i can't see why people without cascading don't use ccbill or epoch - they have great reputations, regular payouts and - important - good support for webmasters and affiliates. affiliates do prefer ccbill because epoch stats leave something to be desired, but i think both those companies are solid and i'd rather go with one of them every time.

You guys know I hate to disagree with you, but verotel has almost 24/7 Live chat support for all webmasters, in fact I could talk to someone at verotel with-in 5 minutes. They do have a problems with their affiliate stats, but all you have to do is get an independent stats program, and you will have something that will provide superior stats to what Ccbill offers its members with out the risk.

personally i don't want to do live chat - i want my emails answered. that way we have a record of what was said or what is supposed to be done.

Well I am not one to want to split hairs about having records of e-mails, I just want the problem I have at that times fix ASAP. As far as the stats yes they have a problem, but no big sites use just Ccbills stats program, they use a independent program that will track the location the clicks its coming from/hourly clicks/sales ECT Ccbill is ok, but over rated, over priced, and over regulated If you want to trust that in 5 years they are not going to screw you on some rule that all about cuts your sales in ½ or just flat out put a hold on your account that’s up to you, but I think affiliates join a site not a processor. If an affiliate is given superior stats and paid on time they will be just as happy with verotel if not happier. But maybe that’s just my thinking, and in fact what I will be doing, I guess we will have to wait 5 years to see if I was right :eek:
