How saturated is the Net with this content?

Last August Cheapcontent had some discount sales campaign and they offered (I think) sets for about $10 each,,, so I bought 17 sets. Their codes are:

    domi-10.zip
    dtrv-11.zip
    dtrv-148.zip
    dtrv-166.zip
    dtrv-177.zip
    dtrv-31.zip
    dtrv-33.zip
    dtrv-80.zip
    dtrv-84.zip
    dtrv-196.zip
    dtrv-153.zip
    dtrv-157.zip
    dtrv-199.zip
    dtrv-155.zip
    domi-12.zip
    domi-17.zip
    dtrv-150.zip

I know we have experts here who will know what each of these codes means, but if you're like me then you'll need the pics themselves

I tried to make some UGAS platinum sites with this content (though only using one model in one site, which might be a mistake), but it seems it doesn't convert. I got even very small number of signup clicks, while usually premium sites get a lot of clicks and at least a few signups just off the AVS's link list.

Maybe it's not due to the content itself but the character of the rest of my sites which are not so twinky

So, I'd really appreciate if someone could give me an honest assessment of the current saturation of these pics on the Net, and whether it's wiser to use them e.g. for free sites, or AVS feeder sites, or nevertheless to go for premium (platinum) sites as well?

I wish they would have a sale like that again soon, I need some cheap content “but with out the sale their stuff is nothing of the sort”.

Well I think that xstr8 guys make UGAS sites for a living and I am sure he will disagree with what I say but, you can not just make a few UGAS sites and expect to make any money. 1 AVS is about ˝ dead, 2 UGAS is a bit of a rip off with all those levers of memberships, but if you want to make any sales you have to create sites with super niches “like Harry/Bear Twinks ECT” 3 you have to list your UGAS sites every place you can, I could go on but this could talk all day or even a week to talk about.

To really answer your question, I would use the pics any and every way I could, you might want to show thumbs of 1 or 2 of the pics in every set on every AVS sites tour. I do not know what you sites look like but the content looks “frat” to me so I would promote the Str8 Frat Boy crap with it. I really only like AVS sites now days for their declining and limited traffic importance. :spook: Free sites really have better sales numbers for me now days

I tend to agree with you on this... My sites aren't specialised yet, although I'd like them to be. If I could find the proper content I would specialize in European soccer fetish and US military type of sites... but sadly, there isn't much quality content of that sort.

So, I kind of specialized in studs and straight boys, solo and hardcore, with an occasional bear here and there so this is probably off the chart. but, the most important thing I need to do is to increase the number of sites...

Yep make more sites, list them more places, even use combos of the same content to make “new” sites. The soccer thing is a good idea, do things like that as much as you can. BTW you can call about any white guys European content, if you want to use more of that word.

Ben, my bud! I'm no expert on this type of content but I do think it is a bit old. And I do think that the freshness and or exclusivity of content is quite important especially for premium AVS galleries.

The best use of older content is to make regular AVS galleries (50 pic) and really push the upsell to sponsors. Use custom FPAs before content, put banners with text links in the middle of each gallery page, etc.

And like max says, promote sponsor sites that mesh well with your content. I can sell most paysites well from AVS galleries as long as the the sponsor and the gallery have similar content.

Try to build a brand for your AVS galleries, which seems to be the new trend. Your AVS hubsite should be a bookmarked destination that draws your surfers back again and again.

And I also do agree with max (shwew!) that you should use your content every way that you can with one warning. Don't over-use your content on your hub. Use your best content for premium AVS galleries and use your older content for regular AVS galleries. If you do use new/fresh content for a regular gallery, don't use it all. Maybe just use the first 50 softcore pics from a set and tell the surfer that they can see the whole set and cumshot in your premium gallery. If you do reuse your content on other galleries over and over again, don't list those galleries on your main hubsite otherwise you will cheapen that content.

Find your niche! If twinks turn you on, do twinks galleries. If frat boys turn you on, do frat galleries. Become the master of your niche(s) before you try to sell something that doesn't give you a hard-on. And get to know every sponsor in that niche and promote them heavily. If you have a hard time making AVS sales get better at making sponsor upsells. Nothing converts better than AVS traffic except maybe Google Adwords traffic.

I know this is a few days too late but Ounique had a "100 sets for $990" sale in April. That would have probably been a better use of your content $$. They used to repeat the sale several times a year, so save some money for next time. There has been a lot of Ounique bashing lately but they have started updating very frequently and you can get some very fresh stuff from them again.

Thanks Xstr8! Your advice is always appreciated.

This content didn't look too old to me when I was buying it last year, but now I'm beginning to realize I probably wasted my money on it. I don't surf for twink sites at all, that's why I'm so uninformed about pics like these and need an expert opinion.

A few years ago I did well with FA and Ounique content, but then FA stopped selling gay sets altogether and something weird was happening with Ounique. You say Ounique pulled themselves together now so I'll check them out again soon.

You are absolutely right about choosing a very specialized niche. As I said, what I'd like to do most isn't available as far as the required content is concerned. Therefore I will most probably go for studs (20-something, perhaps even men over 30), European hardcore and Straight guys.

I expect to redesign my hub very soon, and I will post it here for public evaluation and flogging . I think I will also need some mentor(s) in order to up my commissions above the present pocket money level.

Well not really that sure your content is the problem you really think it is, making sales really does have more to do with packaging, and creating themes. In adult site allot of times the cover is more important than the book for making sales anyway. If you have what you believe is over used content try to use pics in the series that people might not so easily recognize, change the theme so that you can market it to a new group of people ECT Their is allot more showmanship that is needed, but if you really try you can spin about any content into a wide range of sites and themes. :kelly:
