    International Respect for Chickens Day

I'm sure many of you have already learned that today is International Respect for Chickens Day. (yes, its in Google)

Amongst other things that means be good to your twink sites.

And it is Thursday, so maybe it is a good day to go and pick up a poulet
(which is pronounced pull - it)

Actually that how my grandma said it.... poulets = "pull - its" which were the young chickens. Anyone on a farm in the US with chickens running around say it that way. Like how we call boulevards -"bull-e-vards"-

The farms where I came from they called them "pull-its" also.

Oh, that was just like in Pittsburgh we had a town called North Versailles and they pronounced it Ver-sails. I always hated that.

    It's pronounced more like poo-lay.

    Happy plucking.

We can sing it like this:

    Poulet-vous (ah-ha)
Take it now or leave it (ah-ha)
Now is all we get (ah-ha)
    Nothing promised, no regrets
    Poulet-vous (ah-ha)
    Ain't no big decision (ah-ha)
You know what to do (ah-ha)
    La question c'est poulet-vous
    Poulet-vous...

and I guess for International Respect for Chickens Day, ABBA could also sing
    Chickitita

Hmmmm, maybe that's why I felt compelled to buy the turkey sandwich today instead of the chicken...
