After seeing so many gay adult videos, I was just wondering why so much of them are made up of colon shots? I mean I really do not need to see 45% of a video in such a close up I could count ass hairs. Do viewers really like this type of shot? I personally like to take in the whole seen, rather than focussing in on just the penetration part. The looks of their faces, their abs tensing, body’s colliding ECT just seeing a close up of the “action” is a bit of a turn off to me :cry:

We shoot that way because that's what our audience seems to want. Rimming is very popular, and when we had videos that had less penetration shots and more of other stuff, people bitched about that.

I'm with you that the same shot of a dick going in and out of an ass isn't that big a turnon, but a lot of buyers apparently think it is.

Ya I was really just wanting to see it I had to do that, I really do not want to have to stick the camera up some guys ass in a movie, just to focus on the in and out repletion. But from what you say I do have to do it anyway :cry: maybe I will just limit the time I do a shot like that. Personally I like good dialog, but I think I might push some limits with that though. I think words and themes can be a much bigger turn on than just a cock going in and out of a ass. Personally I would like to add as much resistance “at the start” from the bottom as possible to my videos, and really try to reframe as much as possible from the CP “Colon Porn” shots.

BTW do you know what the dialog limits are? How far can I go with the “No Please Stop” “God it Hurts” “Please don’t Make Me Do That” BS? I see allot more of this type of language used in ebony films, and think the dialog and situation can be much hotter than just the action it self. Dialog is excellent, as long as its captured well and audible.

And, most anything goes...except, make very sure that you're bottom is not being forced without consent...that's not good.

So you are saying that as long as I have consent of what will be going on before I start filming, “maybe use a safety word” I can do about anything I want on film? Even things that look a bit unconsensual, almost rape, fake drugs, Ect their is no limit to the dialog I can use? With all the word nazis it just worry’s me, and I was under the impression I could not do some things.

I guess I will have to do some extreme close up’s if so many of you do like it, its just not my thing I guess. From what I do know and have seen lighting is a must in any shot, but at first I am sure I will make some real crap vids

If there's anything to imply the bottom is being forced, then you're in a very gray area... it could be considered rape, which, depending on the outcome of the Extreme Associates case, could be considered obscene. It's not just demonstrating that consent exists (which you could do with a disclaimer) but not showing something that *portrays* lack of consent. While it *should* be covered by the first amendment, you just never know with the right-wing neoconservatives what's going to happen to our constitution in coming years.

We've done some scenes where the "straight boy" is encouraged/talked into having his dick sucked and his ass licked, and, of course, by then he's BEGGING to have his ass plowed... but I think that's a little different, because there's obvious consent at each stage. I know that a lot of others carry it further than we do, but we just prefer to be a little more on the conservative side.

we had one of our films BAREBACK GREASE MONKEYS, banned in Chicago because there was a little "gag" we through in for fun...

we had two of the performers pour what appeared (on camera) to be "oil from a Penzoil can" into a funnel that was inserted up Cam's butt

I am really glad to hear that I will have so much freedom, to create the type of videos I would like too. If not a few regional problem, but that should not be a big problem for me at first. I just really hope this does not change in the future, we should all be able to express our self’s.

A regional problem is a BIG problem. If a prosecutor in Tennessee, where practically anything adult, and most likely anything gay, is considered obscene, gets a hardon for your content, you'll be charged with violating obscenity laws in Tennessee. Or Pennsylvania, or Oklahoma or Utah or any of the other states that have shown a dislike for pornography.

Anything that's close to the edge will be that much harder to defend in court.

Do what you want, but I'd seriously talk to a good adult attorney before you move forward.

I did not think a state I have never visited could chare me with anything, and get me arrested in my home state for something like this. I knew it sounded to easy for this country, I will take it easy with the theme for sure they will not be the worse available “as far a themes” I really just want something a bit edgy is all, and its a bit hard to do something edgy if I do not know where the edge is.
