My dear you are torpedoing my attempt to not admit that I used to set my alarm for 3AM when I lived at my parents house in a little town in Northern Ontario to log into the local BBS to download individual semi-nude male pictures at 14.4Kbps at 10 minutes a pop

netpics.cc which is now a separate site was originally part of the Badpuppy network, and dates back to at least 1996.

And... joining the ranks of those dating themselves, I had a 28.8 modem that most of the time connected only at 14.4 or so, with dialup Compuserve service as well as Internet service through my college. I remember downloading pics from a site run by a guy named Halvor Johansen who was in Norway and had a bunch of pics of naked guys he'd collected from here and there. However, *my* monitor was color... all 16 of them

Sorry if this is inappropriate, but this is one of the very first images I ever downloaded. It was because of such images, and because of one or two people in Toronto, that I decided that gay was ok and moved to the bigger city. Notice the vague attempt at copyright at the bottom of the image. I think it is a good indicator of how far each of us can go given a bit of time and determination. Bill Rivers signed this personally and recently he bought an airplane. I guess anything is possible in this business. The sky is the limit.

EGA baby! That was right around the time I upgraded to SVGA What a difference that made.
