Spam my Directory

Greetings all, as some of you know I have launched a new site which has a built in gay directory. I am inviting all gay porn webmasters to come and submit your links to my directory. When you submit a link it will ask you for a reciprocal link URL. For the next 30 days we will not require any link backs for sites listed. Submit as many links as you want. Please make sure you submit them in the correct categories. All links submitted in the next 30 days will never be required to link back.

GayMojo is only two weeks old and we only receive about 500 uniques a day on average. It may seem a waste of your time to submit your links right now. However we will grow in time and sooner or later you will be glad you took the time. Enjoy..

Tristin - I can't figure out where to list a general site like my www.gaydicks4you.com - it doesn't fit your erotica categories as it's a general mix of various gay niches ... unless it'd just go under the websites section??

Yup Basschick, Bec is right, no link backs needed. Just tring to get some links into the directory.

I changed The main catagory name from erotica to Adult. Bec, I created a Genaral Catagory under Adult, sumbit it there. I don't know why I did not have it in the first place.

Ok, that works for me! Thanks! -- You might want to consider adding AVS under your Adult as well. Unless you want those just sorted into the other categories.

I could create a endless amount of categories. But I want to keep it simple. I could split adult into AVS, Membership, Free, etc... But I would rather just stay with Niche categories. Users can sort it out after they click the link. :thumbsup:

Are these links just for free sites, or are you hosting paid sites as well?

Hey Tristin, I've been doing some links - but all of them are showing the root directory index page for an image, and not the actual page/screenshot of the url I'm submitting ... any way you can get that Alexa script to fetch a photo of what is actually on the full url submitted? -- check your Adult, and Ethnic sub section, and you'll see what I mean. All of the Mancheck sites are showing the www.gayasiantown.com site photo.

Hey Bec, Go to alexa.com , punch in the web address of your site, go to the bottom of the page and look for "Correct errors and omissions in this listing". Click on that and then click the "update thumbnail" link after your site info pops up. It takes 24 to 48 hours but it should update to the correct thumbnail.

Not sure I'm following you on this update stuff. Alexa shows the right information and image for www.gayasiantown.com -- what your script isn't doing is fetching a screen for any free sites or AVS sites built in subfolders. All sites that I've submitted are included in the cached information Alexa has for the site, something like 10 pages/142 listings of site content, including the AVS site tours. To me, it looks like doing the "correct info" to a different thumbnail would be for the domain as a whole, and that's not something I'd want to do.
