    Aol

Ok, I went to check the mail today, and I noticed that I was sent 2 AOL disks in the mail. Why? Is AOL that stupid that they need to send me 2 of them? On the same day?

Am I the only one that thinks that if they would stop sending out these cd's to just random mail boxes that they might actually be able to build software that was worth a shit? I installed in on my computer for Richard to use when he comes over, because that's what he has at the time. Now that he doesn't use it anymore I'm trying to uninstall it. The thing will NOT get off my computer. Every time I try to uninstall it, it freezes everything up. Isn't there a law about software that you can not remove from your hardrive?
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

I get at least one of those cds every week. Once I got 4 in one week. The funny part is that i have been a member of AOL for 3 years straight. You can uninstall thier software. I have never had a problem removing it.

I can not get this darn program off my computer. Each time I try it freezes everything up. I called them about it and offered me 3 free months for the trouble.... WTF?

I want it off my computer; I don't want 3 months free...

I'm thinking about maybe using them in some sort of a statue like they did in that commercial.

AOL will not come off a comptuer... all the way, at least. There's lots of little things it leaves on your drive... It's all a way to get you to sign up for their clunky, inadequate, slow software.

Oh, and I find the work great to even out the lengths of my desk legs.

    Send Your AOL CDs Here

Once they collect 1,000,000 of them they will take them to AOL headquarters and dump them back there. I've sent in 11 so far. haha. They're a great way to get rid of the friggin' things, as well as contribute to a fun cause expressing frustration at having received so many of the damn things in the first place.
