    X Men Last Stand

I saw X Men 3 over the weekend and loved it. Great effects, good story, and of course the subliminal gay messages.

In Episode 3, a drug company comes up with a drug that will "cure" mutants permanently. Some of the mutants take it, many fight it because they don't believe there is anything wrong with them and thus no need to be "cured"

If there was a drug that made gay people straight, would you take it? I, for one, definitely would NOT. I am very happy the way I am and have no desire to be straight. I feel fortunate to be who I am.

    Answer: No

What if we asked this question:

If there was a drug that would make straight people accept us, would we make them take it?

BTW if there was a drug that would make me bisexual I'd take it :groovy:

I saw Xmen as well, loved it. It so oozes the subliminal gay messages and I love that about the Xmen series. Good stuff.

Yeah that was a great movie. As a big X-Men fan for years there were some things that really pissed me off, but overall it was great.

I must be reading or have read way to far in to that question, cause what I see is:
(since you hate yourself so much) would you take a pill that changes who you are?

Fuck no - I love who & what I am!

I saw the movie too... While it wasn't perfect, it was pretty darn exciting. And you are right, Angel needed more screen time!

As far as the question on the table... Would I take a pill to turn straight? Hell no. I wouldn't want to take a pill to allow myself to conform to what society deems is normal. Being gay is part of who I am, and I don't want to change that just to makes others (who I don't even know) happy. Besides, gay guys give MUCH better blow jobs than women, so I'd actually be taking a big step backwards in that department!

Yeah, I think you're reading a little too much into it. Chad was just asking a question. Considering how much hatred the rest of the world has toward us, I think it's a feasible question to ask.

Personally, I wouldn't take a pill that turned me straight, but like Squirt, I probably wouldn't mind taking one that made me 50/50 bisexual. I like the idea of a "free" sexuality that is not limited by gender. Women are amazing. I just wish I had more attraction to them sexually. Though I do have my moments.

For sure, the question is a viable or a feasible one.
I understand that Chad is simply askin' a question - I merely posted exactly what I believe, which is: a person must really hate themself if they are willing to change something so major in their life, merely appease those that do not agree with what they are doing.

As far as I am concerned, the concept is no different from that of a pill that converts one from the Islam faith, to the Catholic faith, or from 'black' to 'white' etc.

I hope it did not seem as if I was tryin' to bite off Chad's head - I am sure he knows I would ask him politely.

    I love MEN! Never!

Btw, I spent 34 years being "straight". If anything, I wish I had a pill back then to make me acknowledge my denial sooner.

I loved the movie but I have to say I was siding with the bad guys. If the government had a shot that would make gay people straight do you really think they would keep it voluntary??? Look at our current administration. The jerkoff in the big house is trying to change the constitution to take away our rights!!! They'd be lining us up and telling us it was a free flu shot or something. Grrrr.
