Well to tell the truth I find sites that not everyone and their bother push and brand new sites sell best. Even if these sites might not look as good too some webmasters, viewers act like they do in the real world and are always looking for the BBD “Bigger and Better Deal”

Well if you ask me it depends on the type of traffic you have, the niche you are promoting, and how many people are promoting the same domain, but I would say about 1 in 500 or so would be about average for raw traffic.

My best converting site is the back button.
This question always comes up. very few successful webmasters will honestly tell you.
And you asked the question the wrong way.
I play poker if someone asks me how to you play AK. I ask them what position, tournament, cash, stack size to blinds etc.
Give more info.
If you ask me what is my best converting site in the Asian niche I can give you an answer of site x.com
If you ask me what is my best converting site in the asian niche with tgp traffic it may be site y.com
And the difference can be HUGE!
Conversion ratios are only half the story as well. Someone mentioned that their conversion rates made them feel good when looking at others.
here's a scenerio - I create a site (very clean, no agressive links etc). I may get 1 sale and convert at 1:200 on pure banner clicks.
I create another site w/ same content and sponsor but am much more aggressive, and may push as far as I can and make 3 sales at a conversion of 1:1200.
Your ratio may be better but my checkbook is better!
IF anyone has a niche and type of traffic they send to that niche and I market i can offer my experiences if I market that niche with that traffic.
Just unfiltered junk traffic I have no idea. i guess what Max says whatever is new and at a good price. With this traffic I usually send to a low trial pay per signup sponsor as it is not filtered enough to take a chance on a non trial or to see if it recurs.
TopBucks does really well for me conversion wise, on average, around 1:23 consistently although, right now, we're at 1:43
I have to admit, its one of the only sponsors i use that does have a consistently low conversion ratio over the course of a 12 month period.

i have noiced that TB onnversions are off a bit as well.
Last few periods for me.
