Nobody clicks the exit link because they don't want to see porn, they click it on accident. I do not even provide an exit link on warning pages for that reason.

A page where you have no choice but to click "enter" (other than, well, closing the browser or entering another URL) would seem to me to somewhat defeat the value of having it in the first place.
I'll disagree on that. I have had this discussion with others on other boards too, and so a few years back we did a little test. Rather than doing the standard exit link to google or disney, I started throwing the exit traffic to a mainstream site where I got paid... Now I don't get rich on it, sure couldn't afford Paco's latest ski purchases for example, but it is a nice few nights out on the town each month from those sales.
Exit links are not just clicked by accident. People will search for a term, your site pops up such as say, 'stories' and it isn't the type they want, so the click of the exit isn't exactly by accident. Twink sites that use various se terms or any adult site for that matter, will find someone surfing for a generic term like 'denim' or 'underwear' showing up, so they click the exit link. It really isn't just an 'accidental click'

I strongly believe in using entry pages or "splash" pages. I suggest that there be no images on them, and if any are used, only images that could be found in the Kmart circulars [swimsuit stuff]. There should be an entry link that follows a warning that entrance is to an adult site and that the surfer affirms he is of legal age. You can and should have an exit link, and going to a place like Patti's muscle boys site is a good idea because it may generate a sale or two where otherwise there is no chance of income. You can also put up links to places like netnanny or cybersitter if you have complied with their requirements.
A warning page is not age verification [there is no such thing on the Internet as Age Verification, because a surfer can always use someone else's info and you cannot inspect their ID like a bouncer at a bar] but it does show a good faith effort.

I link the exit buttons to another splash page on another domain I own, in a belief it will help me with the spiders, but I must say very few people click that, and I could see 45% of the once that do, do it on accident. Some viewers are just like drunken monkeys.

The warning page is part of a whole little program that I am working on.
In a nutshell over 10% of my feeder site sales come from warning pages. Maybe more. AND I am working on a program to make them more dynamic to take that % and try and get it up..
Will post later have to talk to the gossamer guys. Grrrr. I hate spending money.

Our 'exit' button leads to privacy software (yah, I know, if they are not interested in porn, why do they need the software, but it works/makes sales).

Zombie surfing. This is where people glance and click without actually reading.
The enter and exit links on warning pages are almost always the most prevalent text or images on the page, and most of the time they are equal in general appearance. Sometimes people go for them without really thinking and click exit on accident.
Obviously there are some warning page designs that make this mixup less common, such as huge enter text with small exit text below.
A problematic enter/exit design is no doubt JuicyGoo's. The exit text is actually larger than the enter text. I'll bet more than a few people glance and see the word enter bolded out and click that line... then end up at Google.

Although, that is fundamentally a problem with site design which is the reason why it gets clicked.
