    How do you work with DVD content?

    I bought a bunch of video content and it was all delivered on dvd, im opening it up and theyre .ifo files and and .vob files

    I dont know how to work with these files and transform them into a format that I can edit and put online in streaming like .mov or even in flash

    anywhone know how to work with this format?

    The same thing just happened to me. I just bought the scaled down version of Vegas. I think it's called Platinum, it was $129 I think and it seems to be doing the trick.

    You need a software package that will convert DVD files in to an Mpeg format.

    The one i use is called YasaDvdToMpeg and is available at Yasasoft.com

    Once you have the files converted its pretty much the same as using regular movie content

    ....you need to convert the dvd to MPEG or WMV format (or whatever format you want)..
    then you can host it and do whatever you want with it..

    would you have to go to mpg first? i'd go direct to dvd if the program you're using would do it.

    Im checking out Yasasoft.com now

    I want to do it in a NON downloadable format, something that will only play on the webpage, but the surfers cant download it
