Noise Reduction For Images?

Anyone know what the best method is for reducing noise in digital photography?

I have already changed the ISO setting to below 100 as i saw that posted on a couple of sites but, my pics are still coming out very noisy.

Here's a sample pic so you can see what i mean:

At almost 1MB in size, that screams amateur photorapher to me and, while that isnt a huge problem, im trying to get these pics looking somewhat usable.

Any thing you folks can suggest on how to reduce the noise levels a bit more?
