    Maxpixels

I am posting this rather that just emailing Don. Because there is a value in it there maybe useful to ohter webmasters. And I want to see if others use it.

I know Don a few years ago I mentioned I used Ounique as a tool for dtermining the scaricty of a certain niche. Via using the advanced funtions of the search engine.

I have a client that does AVS sites. He's really broad now, and I want to give him ideas where he can narrow it down to make AVS sales. I always would use searches like Uncut + Pornstars. or Uncut + bears, or Uncut + Bear + Pornstars.

Do others do that. Or do you surf a niche and find what you like.

Now today when I was goin through MaxPixels (and I love your content btw), It's so much better than most.

When I did the uncut + something else. I got all the uncut and the something else, but not nesecarrily together.

maybe I am doing something wrong.

There are certain niches that are not really micro, but maybe close. It would be cool if you had some searches built in. And example maybe uncut + hardcore. Just click the link and all hardcore sets come up with uncut guys.

I know you can't do every niche, but maybe some of the combinations that u see people searching for.

Basically I have a client who is paying me hourly to find how many sets you and a couple others have in a few niches that involve a combination of just two keywords. They will buy them when I eventually find them.

And I myself am doing research on a few nuches and trying to see what update schedule I could maintain on an AVS site or two.

Does anyone else use the advance search features of content stores to find niches to create sites for?

    Hi abostonboy,

We had just launched a new revamped version our website a few months ago after a long involved process. The search feature is really good but not perfect. We hope to keep adding improvements to the site as time permits and your comments about the search function will be at the top of the list. When we launched I had thought it would be good to have something like that as well, but with all the other programming that needed to be done, we just didn't have the time or resources. Having said that, if you are looking for something specific please let me know. I will try to do my best to help you.

Also, if you use the advanced search function and choose more than one keyword from the menu, the results will show that word highlighted. It's probably a lot easier to scan the descriptions for two highlighted words than it is to visually look at each set. Again, this is something we hope to fix but for now I hope this makes your search a little easier.
