Thinking about adding a trial tour page

What do you guys think about a trial tour page for my affiliates

mabey like 3 days 4.95$ trial

but how do you do this in ccbill .. because i don't see were i can add

something like pierrefitchonline.com/tour1/ with prices for this page

because if i add prices then i see it on my normal sign up page pierrefitchonline.com/join.html

do you think trial convert better

I think the general consensus of nearly everyone here is that trials are worthless. Surfers that join via a trial option are usually content-suckers that download your member's area and cancel. Many of these leeches, if given the option of non-recurring 1 month membership, will take that option instead of a trial.

I would lesson to Xstr8 I know you will not take my word for it but he is right, unless you have a super large site do not even think about a cheap trail. Even then its a bit of a waist I might go with a 14.95 3 day trial but probably not.

pierre has something no member can use a sucker for - he does 2 weekly live shows.

this could be a good idea but i'd beta test it for a while before going public with it. it could be a good deal to offer on exit, too, for people who just wanna get a taste.

personally i wouldn't stop offering monthly with no trial on the regularly tour.

    Pierre,

I would adise you to offer a trial. IF you are sure your members stay.

You have something that few websites offer, a live show twice a week where many people chat and many stay I am sure because of that.

The issue you have is that you offer PPS. So, you do face a risk. If you allow that on the PPS.

You will get better conversions, for sure. IF you have something sticky in your site that they can't find anywhere else, they will stay.

Some will go in and dl the vids and pics, yes. BUT even them you can get to be a member after they cancel. That is by offering a cancel discount via CCbill. It works. I hope you are doing that. It means before they cancel you say are you sure here's a better deal. And i BELIEVE that the cancel discount does not apply to having you share that discount with affiliates that join the revshare.

I am not sure if you can offer just a trial to just revshare members via standard ccbill unless you do some programming.

    pierrefitch,

You can load specific pricing options on the CCBill Signup Form through use of the allowedTypes variable. For example, the following link will load only subscription type #37 on the signup form. You can find the subscription type ids from the pricing administration within the CCBill Webmaster Administration (it is the first data column on the left as you are viewing the report).

    https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/signup...llowedTypes=37

If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at your discretion.

    Thank You,

    Thank You,
    He has a % and a PPS.

If he didnt want to offer a trial on the PPS, does he need to have them setup as two different subaccounts?

And while you are here, Lloyd (dang we have the same name), and this has nothing to do with Pierre, I use to have with you a 2 page signup form, is that allowed now. I know before I had to have the CCbill logo and the visa logo so many pixels apart. BTW, doing that old form I learned a lot about how you passed info. It was a fun experience.

BTW, You guys rock. Tell Patrick see him in NYC pride.

    abostonboy,

Affiliate programs can be set up in many different ways that acccomodate both PPS and %. Yes, CCBill does still allow a two step form process that allows the client to pass certain information collected on the client side into the signup form.

Affiliate programs can be arranged in different groups to pull off a PPS and a % set up. Affiliates that are pushing PPS traffic would sign up to the program with the PPS group payout while affiliates that are pushing % traffic would sign up to the % group payout. If an affiliate wanted to push both % and PPS traffic that affiliate would need to create two seperate accounts one for each method. Of course this all depends on how the client wishes to set up the program, but to answer your question; yes it can be done and no you would not need to create a seperate sub-account.

I hope that I was helpful,
