I dont even check my stats anymore

man this is bad. I just noticed that lately Ive been going 2-3 days without checking my stats because theyre so slow. I get anxious and nervous to check them.
I used to race to check them when I got up first thing in the morning, and keep closing out and restarting Stats Remote to see all the new sales coming in.
Now theres so few new ones coming in, its really bumming me out.

Am I the only one who things have been going slow for? this whole year, damn.
2003 was good for me, now Im making half of that. :err:

Well change sites you promote man, people love the BBD “Bigger and Better Deal” I will be opening one soon that should do extremely good for 3-6 months if you have twink traffic. Also traffic is drying up a bit, and transitioning to much less convertible TGP stuff, we are really coming to the end of the average person being able to make a good living in this type of work. Again I have some plans to help people turn around some of the problems with traffic, but I am not going to go on about me, sorry I am working on some of this crap now so its what I am thinking about.

We have had our best year yet and just last weekend we broke records for payouts for affiliates. Last summer was quite slow but this summer is just the complete opposite. I have also had quite a few affiliates icq me this weekend and were very excited about how much they were making. So our program has been doing very well.

I would also push the TopBucks $88 payouts on Fridays. We have been making over $500 on those every Friday but have been pushing alot of traffic to them. http://www.topbucks.com/promos/8yr/list.html

I would take the programs that are doing well for you and push more traffic to them and maybe just try all together some new ones. Also some summer text lines help like hot boys in shorts fucking outside by the pool etc.

Remember we still have to talk about "combining" our two approaches in the indusrty into one where we complement each other.

Don't know what Max has up his sleeves, but I can remember 1998 it was a licence to print money.

I truly believe that traffic now has to be filtered like crazy. Send to a gallery/site then to a hub filter it again to a gallery/site then back to another hunb for more filtering. Hopefully what I am working on will make that a lot easier.

I BELIEVE that when sales are down is when you should be looking at the stats the most.

Look at ever so slight conversions and where the traffic is coming from and whose is getting it.

And when it really hits rock bottom, then you really have nothing to lose than go out on a limb and try something you never tried before. Buy some traffic etc...

You guys should do something like that. I market a few of your sites and do well. Same as I did w/ TB. Never marketed one of their $88 sites until the promo because I didn't think it would convert my traffic. I did. And I will be adding that site in the mix from now on. The extra couple hundred they paid me is a SMALL price to pay to get a webmaster to promote the site on a regular basis. Heck, there are even a couple other sites they have with the same design that I am going to try even though i don't see them on the $88 list.

Damn, I miss the $75 ARS days when Bear Lovin was like 3 weeks old. Now that was something special.

So was that $500 check I got from MaxCash and I still don't know why. LOL. Anyone remember that promo? I am trying like fuck to think what they did.

These are huge companies running these promos, TopBucks has over 60 employees I only have 2 full time and 2 part time. We might run a promo soon but it won't be anywhere close to $88. If I did that IntenseCash would be go bankrupt, .

I was in a bad head space last night when I wrote that post.
I work harder now than I did in 2003 yet 2003 was an amazing year.
I remember when my tax accountant looked at my 2003 numbers and his eyes got wide, I was so proud.

I am sure they are losing money on the short term, which maybe hard for nay company to handle, in the long term I am sure they are getting more webmasters to promote, links up, brand exposure to both surfers and webmasters.

Yea the PPS model is a beast in itself. When I mentioned a promotion, didn't really mean $88, but something cool. Maybe a "If you can double your Friday signups to all our sites, then we will double your payouts for that day." Sorrta a win win - you get twice as many signups, pay twice as much, and will get some extra sigups the days before and the days after. And that's just short term..

I'm getting 20 and 30 times more traffic now then I did half a year ago, but making only about 20% more money because ratios are much worse. And yes, I am trying various sponsors and keep changing stuff, but still, it sucks. The ratios are getting worse across my network, it's the extra traffic that balances things out.

We did really well with promoting Intense Cash also with our non-Asian traffic, and Mark is a great guy! :thumbsup:

I also recommend trying to promote more micro niche sites, we are still amazed at the conversions on Boykakke, I've never seen a gay Asian site convert like it.

I think surfers are really looking for something unique, different and that suits their specific tastes these days, general gay sites just don't convert traffic these days.
