Google Launches Checkout, not the Rumored GBuy

    SearchengineWatch.com

Google has launched Google Checkout, a payment system for online retailers that's tightly integrated with Google AdWords. Checkout isn't the rumored PayPal killer, but it does offer some compelling features for both merchants and online shoppers alike.

If PayPal continues to behave like it has been then Paypal is it's own worst enemy.

Google wants to be the next Microsoft.

My prediction: $550/share with in 8 months. Taking bets....

A fast, secure checkout process helps persuade shoppers to buy on your site and buy more often.

    Process sales for free.

Google is on my "accumulate" list. All my day trading profits go into buying it. Just watch the swings Marc. When its drops down and you got the cash, grab it.

Not to get off subject, but Apple is underpriced because of Ipod Delays, but they just registered an interesting patent. Some insider movement on that stock as well.

You made almost $8 a share today. Not bad. High volume and 5 min trend above Dow. It will be at $412 about an hr after open tomorrow. Still lots of orders on that stock out that waiting to be completed.
