Do Pointed Domains Really Hurt S.E. Rankings??

    Hello Everyone - Happy Thursday!

I thought I had a good marketing strategy by pointing key word packed domain names to my sites. I found out today that my site is being penalized by search engines for having domains forwarding to them. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, I was told that a "301 redirect" via htaccess is the solution to this problem. But how do you add a 301 redirect to a parked domain at godaddy? Tech support seemed clueless about the topic :ill:

I'd appreciate any insight anyone can share on this topic.

    Thanks Chris
