Not as in fucking a biological girl or anything! It's just that I want to hone my production skills and as far as I know, no one offers a degree in making porn. I realize that working briefly in the mainstream straight adult industry might be a great way to see how the big guys do it.

No, I'm not leaving BearFilms.com (I love my job!) but I'm basically looking to offer my services for a mid- to large-sized shoot anywhere in California for a week. I'd like to get paid but minimum wage would be OK. I head production for BearFilms.com and can direct and produce but I'm looking to follow, not lead. I can grip, PA and shoot. I know how to prep condoms, order pizza, replace light bulbs and even fluff! And I can even bring my own camera!

You've already been on the sets of the best gay porn studios. I don't think there is anything else you could learn from a porn shoot with girls.

If you're looking to learn "professional" production techniques, look into volunteering with independant NON-porn shoots. Craig's List is full of volunteer opportunities to work with some brilliant student and indie film makers.

I gotta warn you though, if you hook up with a "bigger" indie production, you'll be spending a LOT of time just standing around. You might learn some lighting techniques - tricks that always require more time, equipment, manpower and effort than you'll ever use on a low budget bear shoot.

Most of what you'll be learning is how to load and unload a truck.
