What Billing Practices Dont You Like?

After several different options were mentioned in that thread about rebills about what is and what isnt 'wrong' in other peoples eyes i thought it would be interesting to see which billing practices we all thought were bad.

So, that being said, have a vote on this poll and lets see which types of billing practice gets the most votes for being 'wrong'.

It really does not matter to me what billing mentality one uses, if nothing is hidden - the person is allowed to pick from our/your list of offerings.

I am sure many will argue that "they are in a rush and do not take the time to read that which is placed right in front of them (so on and so forth)" ...

Am I suppose to modify my morals or ethics merely because some pylons simply refuse to open their eyes and pay attention to what it is they are doing?

Cross Sells :boo: Exit Consoles :boo: And Free Trial Memberships are not a good idea most have many Cross Sells just to keep the doors open and the ones that don’t must survive on some really slim margins

I don't like signup pages that don't show price. IF I give my email address out at least I want to join a site and no get spam..... And know how much it costs before i give out my email.

I have NEVER seen a pre checked NON Trial. But I know it wouldnt bother me because i don't think anyone is that stupid.

I hate per min on regular porn sites.

The other stuff doesn't bother me at all. I really caheck before I hit that submit button.

The worst experience I ever had was with a porn site that in the tOS said that they could change the membership price at any time. It went from 29.95 to 49.95 after 4 months. I charged back the whole thing as VISA agreed that it took a lawyer to understand the contract. Funny, i found out it was a lawyer that owned the program.

VISA was really cool about it...

The site was advertised heavily on MOTN and is no longer in business I believe.

Paid trials or free trials that rebill, in general I don't like any of them! A lot of users are getting too savvy and know they can get whatever they want for a few bucks and cancel, then come back another day and do it again.
