I had to cancel Vegas & I'm in the hospital :(

I had been running a fever the weekend before Vegas. The night before I was supossed to leave for Vegas I ran a really high fever 104.4. I got that down to something more reasonable but went to the doctor the next day. I had a pressure sore that got infected. My doctor decided to do a ultrasound to check for anything else weird. They found an abcess and on Wednesday they admitted me to the hospital. They have tried to drain it but the abcess is still there. If it doesn't look alot better tomorrow they are wanting to open it, clean it and leave it open for a couple of days to let it heal that way. I am really bummed all this happened right before Vegas and I am very sorry for everyone I missed. Brian, Ted & Lenden are in Vegas though. I will get all better and make sure I make it to Phoenix.

LOL, I am tucked in my bed on a internet connection called dialup, it sounds a bit familiar, . I'm just sitting here for now so thought I would check mail and all that fun stuff.

Here is an update. I had surgery on Saturday, they went in and opened up the area and removed as much scar tissue etc as they could. Then they left it open so it could heal from the inside out. I should get out of the hospital today or tomorrow. It will take me a couple weeks to fully recover. Thanks for everyones support.
