I do remember a year or two back there was a hurricane, but it didn't score a direct hit on the Hollywood area and ended up cruising a fair bit south. It disrupted some folks travel plans, if I remember correct, but otherwise the show went off without a hitch and everyone was there (it came towards the end of the show, so everyone arrived ok but some people had difficulty getting flights out).

The reason I remember it is because, from the balcony at the Diplomat looking out over the ocean, the lightning show provided by the hurricane was spectacular and wonderful

So hey, as long as all it does is give us a lightning show off in the distance, Yippee!
