Anyone Know How Adsense Determines The Page Keyword For Ads?

Im wondering if anyone know how Google Adsense determines the word on which it weighs which ads to display on a page?

What i mean is, does it crawl for a specific words location on a page or if a certain word is formatted differently etc etc?

Yeah i know that, im wondering if anyone knows any more info than that though?

The reason im asking is i have an Adsense site thats showing ads for keywords that dont even appear on the page or has anything to do with the site, kinda puts the whole 'contextual advertising' thing in to perspective LOL

Add more keywords to the page; that always helps. Changing the placement of the google ad can also help sometimes.
