Hotlinking and .mov/.wmv
I know that you can't protect your .wmv files with htaccess, but can you add the .mov and .wmv extensions to your anti-hotlinking line in your htaccess?
Thanks
Michael

i haven't had any problems with wmv and .htaccess in years. all my member movies play fine and i just tried to play one with a browser that hadn't been logged into the site and couldn't do it.

On the other hand.... You have different fingers
We had a problem with WMV protection (we use PHP ModAuth authentication, rather than HTTP Basic), but our programmer solved it pretty simply with a combination of an .htaccess file in the directory where the WMVs live, and a little PHP script that does something magical (I have no idea how it works.)
