If i had to guess it would have been sometime in the late-60's early 70's as its a really old magazine.

The Burt Reynolds shoot was in Cosmo and although he was completely nude, his hand was covering the crucial bits.

"Reynolds gained additional notoriety in 1972 when he posed in the April (Vol. 172, No. 4) issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. It is said to be the first American magazine centerfold of a (near) nude male."
